GGGGG, 15 Jul 2014So what good is this processor if I cannot play a good games on android? More on web browsing ... moreIts good as any processor for games and etc but still like any hardware its support depends on developers. In fact you can play almost all android games including graphically intensive games on single core I know cause I still use xperia pro as my phone and for example all games from glu,Gameloft, madfinger games and etc all work smoothly and that includes their newest games too.

More on web browsing ... moreoh please! don't be bias! u're just jealous to know the ability of this new player in today's market. come on man...don't speak like a loser when you don't know what u're saying. every new player in this world of technology deserve a chance and u know what, they're doing damn fine! no doubt MTK chipset on earlier stage it was not on par, but now...they've reached a matured level and it can hit on those branded chipset anytime anywhen. nothing is perfect bro...open up ur mind please! u're nothing to MTK afterall.

I like this part :)
haha, 15 Jul 2014Another whiner left his hole under the rock.Spoken like a user who knows anything. But is still a loser's knowledge on modern computer world.
Anonymous, 15 Jul 2014i just checked on Wiki,659x are bundled with T760MP4 GPU!..it has Directx11 and is used for mo... moreThat's it? You only look for benchmarks? What armv7 good games are on the android? Don't tell me those racing games. Those are old armv5 and v6 GPU quality!
i'm no qualcomm fan but what good is an all-mighty processor which is sure to run into problems when new android versions are released? i mean capable quad-cores powered by mediatek are still running 4.2 jb.. no future-proofing at all.

As long as Mediatek doesn't start supoorting AOSP like they are legally required to do under GPL, I honestly don't see them making a dent in Qualcomm's market share.
Some manufacturers (like xiaomi) can offer devices that use Qualcomm 801 and sell them really cheap. So I would expect devices sporting mediatek soc/proc will be much much cheaper. Performance of mediatek procs are questionable, their octa-cores can't even compete with last years qualcomms. So yeah they really need that 64 bit boost.
haha, 15 Jul 2014Another whiner left his hole under the rock.He has a point. Android do not have any worthy games yet.
Even GSMARENA have not showcase any Android games..
Even Android users agreed, and they stuck with playing nintendo 8bit emulators and PSX games.. which hardly need such a processor.
LOL i feel like thise SoC can run Starcraft or GTA IV on low settings..wow..imagine running GTA iv on 5inch phone :P
GGGGG, 15 Jul 2014So what good is this processor if I cannot play a good games on android? More on web browsing ... moreI played NFS MW, modern combat 4 zero hour on a phone which is run by mediatek 6575 single core processor at 1Ghz speed.

Might want to point out that MediaTek violates the GPL by not submitting their code to the public.
In fact, they charge you and pretty much make you sign an NDA
Anytime one of these companies doesn't comply, I make sure to steer clear of them.
Good,at least SnapDragon,Exynos Ultra Fans will shut up..good job MediaTek but don't forget about Budgets SoCs too :3
