Nokia announced Symbian Carla and Donna, and then they killed Symbian.
Nokia announced Meego, and then they killed Meego.
Nokia announced Nokia X2, and then they kill Nokia X Series.
this is becoming some kind of tradition for Nokia.
and there"s no guarantee that they won't eventually kill their own WP phones in near future.
good job for playing with consumers' trust!
Nokia already died a long time ago... The moment it was sold to microsoft.
just die... u stubborn.... nokia
i was hoping a nokia here n drive on my galaxy droid... but now.... @%#$&(=+_+=(9
Sanket , 17 Jul 2014Look.... The Beetle is competing the RR. RR was used to haul garbage in India :v
WTF MS? You started to do one thing right and you scrapped it before it had time to get going.
I've wanted a top end Nokia-Android smartphone since Eclair and was hoping to own one in the future.
I've owned many, many Nokia's in the past but I guess my last ever will be an old N82 I have lying around somewhere...
Bye bye Nokia, it was a pleasure.
i had written an angry rant on the nokia conversations website. guess they heard my prayers to let nokia x users to flash their devices with wp 8.1
that's stupid. just stupid. i really do hope nokia (by some software company) will really make android phones. REAL android phones...
think about it, nokia durability and quality, android versatility.
AnonD-282298, 17 Jul 2014He he he...Those who bought Lumia are responsible for death of Nokia.. not Elop..If Lumia was... moretoo devil-ish in you, dude, I think people believe in the product and not the leaders who decides what to create, they buy it because they believe in it, its functionality and reliability, do you own other brand of smartphones with the same OS? do you use other cameras like dslr or point-n-shoot other than your cellphone? it's unfortunate for those people who will going to lose their job, I hope they could find another job and go on with their lives, but these things will surely not going to be "dead".
Android Man, 17 Jul 2014oh dear sounds like Nokia doing Blackberry going down hill fast. Big mistake getting rid of An... morei think its the best thing. i will give u Samsung's example. They cant update all their devices. Microsoft did the right thing by getting rid of android. too much hassle for very little profit. Like people wouldn't root their nokia x devices :v stupid stupid thought
AnonD-274433, 17 Jul 2014elop !! you killed nokia brand!!Elop save nokia, yeah their mobile part is sold, but as a company they r saved with a huge amount.
darkraver, 17 Jul 2014LoL, Sony's strategy looks to be a no competing one, and their mobile sector earnings is slow... moreguess sony vaio division had the same philosphy of not competing with their competitors. look what happened they got sold. Samsung manufactures better android than sony ever did. Sony's UI is shit. nothing unique about sony which will warrant Samsung user's to shift to sony. samsung will get back to the game...oh wait Samsung never lost
Bye bye Nokia, no one really cares tbh. I feel sorry for the countless number of Nokia fan boys. I'm crying in laughter just thinking about it.
oh dear sounds like Nokia doing Blackberry going down hill fast. Big mistake getting rid of Android. But hey you live and learn.
This shows Satya Nadella has killer instincts when it comes to attracting android users towards windows phone because they gave hint/experience of what and how WP look like through their Nokia X Platform, how WP's User Interface looks and works like with their X, X+, XL & X2 and now slowly they are implementing WP in their X family of phones.. So here what happens is future X family --- it comes with WP which almost looks like Nokia X UI, thereby improving their chances of selling good numbers... Most of the mid-range phone buyers doesn't hesitate to buy them and no wonder if it sells like hot pan cakes... Hats off to Mr.Strategic Satya Nadella lol...
