So i have to flip the phone to see if there is notification?!
AmateurHistorian, 21 Jul 2014Is that a steel subframe within the aluminum case? This phone is built like a tank.all iphone like that...even 5c also have steel frame
It would be awesome if the touch ID ring glows when the screen is off and facing up. The logo seems to be a neat idea. Aside from the screen I don't think the upgrade will be worthwhile from the 5S

The SP is the best example in how a phone should notify you, my Z is average though, just a tiny light in the corner.

I don't think any Android phone have back notification light yet and many people like to place their phone face down in meeting / dinner so others won't see notification popups. This will solve both problem.

Does it mean apple start to give money to microsoft who held led notification patent?
Notification light is unlikely. Apple used to include a notification light on its MacBook and MacBook Pro models a few years ago. Since the Air came out, though, they have cut down on any extraneous bells and whistles. Not sure why they would suddenly add something back which nobody has missed.
Isn't there a Kickstarter project that use similar stuff?
No, they will make it transform into a tiny robot that will gently inform you that you have a notification via a song and dance routine.
well im sorry for sony now, because they gonna be sued because they used light notification very often on xperia series...
I know that others used light too, but xperia was one of best in this terms
Well a notification light on the back of the phone,,thats genius put it where you can't see it..if it is plastic insert it will be for RF signals to get out and in.
