The Storm must have sold really well and they've gone down the Motorola Razr V3 route where they'll just keep churning out the same look until it no longer sells to that demographic. I expected a more than some bare cosmetic changes, a la the iphone. The difference is that the iphone is a media darling,whilst the Blackberry Storm hasn't had the same kind of response. Its OS needs a real upgrade, as the memory allocation is weird. You have Application Memory which can reduce to aroud 5Meg through general use, which means I have to reboot the phone on a daily basis. RIM must address this and allocate at least 100Meg for installing apps. It would have been even better if you could install programs that could rund from the media card really. I got one on contract last Nov on vodafone, I doubt i'll get another one. Fortunately it is only a 12 month contract. I may get either the newer iphone or see what Nokia launches nov/dec time.

Just because you love it, it doesn't mean that we have to love it too. Call symbian and winmo obsolete, slow, or whatever, I still prefer them than your beloved blackberry (or BB? What's the news? RIM actually expect me to pay for a new phone which is the exact copy of the original storm? Probably with minor upgrades that could easily have been done with a good firmwre on the original Storm. Go suck on a lollipop RIM.

Simple things like setting the alarm clock become a real chore as the selection seems to jump from hour to minute to am/pm with a mind of it's own.
Why do RIM jobs always leave such a bad taste in the mouth?

Well the first attempt failed so lets see what the second one can do. Let me guess internet browsing is still slower than the iphone 3g. That's pretty sad... iphone 3g has been around for a while but nothing can beat its performance.
