This is the one to hurt Apple.
Metal frame will be amazing...
remember that the s3 mini has the sd card slot under the battery so it maybe like that in the alpha
A piece of shit is a piece of shit. And the point is it comes always with the same spec and same design with different names.
Samsung is running out of names just like its running out of designs!!
Reincarnation of Galaxy S II :))) But this time without micro SD slot...
Are they that threatened by the iPhone 6 to resort to this? I thought Samsung was superior in every way. Ha!!!
Anonymous, 24 Jul 2014I can't see the sense in not having a MicroSD slot which most users clamour for, yet including... more4.4 kitkat has mostly disabled memory card usage so expect 32, 64 or 128Gb internal memory smartphones.
Oh... Samsung are trying to resolve the issues with the s5, and then remove the microSD slot, which was a very good feature, then make a smaller screen, nearly the size of their 'mini' phone, and then sell it as a flagship? I would happily buy an s5 any day, but not an s5 alpha. Samsung had a great phone in the s5, with a few issues, and the original plan of the premium phone (5.3" QHD, Snapdragon 805 Krait 450, Adreno 420, 16MP ISOCELL OIS...) seems much better, and would make it stand out from likes of the Z2/Z3, G3, 5S... If Samsung want to beat Apple, they need to not copy it (4.7"), but put something different and more innovative against it. Note 4 for me!
NotePro, 24 Jul 2014Nothing much to boast about. Please tell us more on Note 4Or S6
I can't see the sense in not having a MicroSD slot which most users clamour for, yet including a Heart Rate Monitor that nobody really cares about. Especially as this is already covered by other wearables sold by Samsung that they can pimp after they've got the sale. I was initially interested by the sub 5" screen but no expandable storage is a deal-breaker for me.
