Oh C'mon it's not Samsung's fault okay.
How come not every s4 in the world was burn. I'm sure she isn't the only one who sleeps with a s4 under her pillow. It's obviously her fault not samsungs fault. If it was samsungs fault there wouldn't be a single s4 in the planet right now.
when I Was 13 i used A nokia 1110
AnonD-32667, 26 Jul 2014and that's why most manufactures make phones with non-removable batteries.That;s true. We hardly hear HTC, Sony or Apple phones catching fire.

Putting a counterfeit/suspect battery in your high-... moreI agree with you why buy top end phone then put cheap battery inside it..I use Mugen or Anker as replacement batteries..These cheap batteries are crap they are only 400-800mA but have sticker over them saying 2000mA etc have had lots of them for Nokias..Some do swell up and just rubbish and deadly..
Why would one put a phone under a pillow. Weird anyway.
AnonD-282298, 26 Jul 2014The kid has Surname.Tolfree,i love it,regardless of serious issue. He must be receiving calls... morehaha..cant believe you picked on that :D but for some others who have made comments.. this whole clearly written article makes no sense and they straight away blame Samsung for its quality. Feel sorry for their ability to understand.
Poor Samsung. Cheap company makes luxury products. my s3 gets hot when I use it but not that bad like this story. S3 most probably my last phone from Samsung. next upgrade will be Sony.
Glad she's ok. Good reminder that companies shouldnt make their battery replacable, because they cant quarantee the safety of user, though even its not company fault if people use bad batteries, but companies still let users have that choice and its obviosly that many users use that choice and buy cheap batteries, because well they are cheap. In that moment they doesnt think the safety or that something could happen.
Well, every night I keep my 2 years old Nokia E6 nearby with the charger plugged in so that it can be ready in the morning for chatting with ma gf. But never got any fire smells in the midnight, thats the quality for you. Lolz
don't worry and don't put any smartphone under to pillow
MADE IN CHINA BAD batteries -1 million sony laptops batteries were found be faulty -overheating some exploding dangerously without warning ..this incidence happened in texas usa ..USA has strict laws on imports including cellphones n batteries ..NO chance of A FAKE BATTERY IN TEXAS USA ..

Dont use samsung. Use a phone with irreplaceable battery.
samsung=killer
Placing a phone under the pillow is asking for trouble, that thing must have gotten real hot for the battery to act that way, the same could have happened with the OEM battery
Anonymous, 26 Jul 2014Why would you keep your phone under the pillow? The whole deal of going with knockoff batterie... moreMost 13 year old girls are oblivious to these things... Lol
How much the pillow cost ?
