I can't believe
I seems it's have a octa core cpu cortex a15 and cortex a7 that is begin to burning!!!!
What about his face I think it is a zombie now
13 year old got an s4 wow.parents nowadays are so irresponsible.by the way its not Sammy fault why did you put a fakeass battery in the phone.and this is why other OEMs make seal phones
There's no need for samsung to investigate, The only cause was the battery. She should by happy she gets an replacement pillow, phone etc but Samsung is only doing that because these things were on the news if they weren't then they would point the finger at her.
The Replacement battery which wasn't made by samsung was maybe already low quality and with pressure on the Flat battery there was already an high risk that such thing would happen.
I have never heard of anyone who is laying his/her phone under his pillow. She should be happy the phone only caught on fire and didn't exploded right away. Just like in videos where people are Hitting once with a hammer an battery explodes the same could be if you are putting too much pressure like laying on it.
I wonder or she had warranty.. If not even that then really. Samsung didn't even replaced the phone for an guy who had the original samsung batteries etc which also caught on fire when he was charging his phone overnight and not below an pillow
So conclusion. Samsung replaces things if their products come on TV and ofcourse blame the batteries she ordered and if someone who even has the same problem almost but with everything from them so no China products or whatthey dont get anything.
Nice of samsung to replace it all but no obligation to especially since it was under the pillow and using a counterfeit battery to. Then again its an Asian company much nicer then US companies.
If i was Samsung i wouldn't replace shit. Putting a counterfeit/suspect battery in your high-end phone is like refueling your supercar from a no-brand gas station on the side of the road you never even heard of. Owner was either too cheap to go for a sanctioned battery, or got bad advice.
Why would you keep your phone under the pillow? The whole deal of going with knockoff batteries is dangerous enough as is, but the heat- and pressure-induced stresses caused by a pillow rolling over it all night can't exactly help either, even on a perfectly decent device.
