Joey, 01 Aug 2014more phablets are coming!!More downfall is coming...
Samsung cannot produce a competitive high spec smaller smartphone with a 4 - 4.7 inch display, they just don't get it!! and there ads mocking Apple have just backfired on them, Now Xiamoi able to produce higher spec and cheaper Android products.
Samesung has so many "flagships" that they can't all be flagships. Flagship has lost its meaning!
Oh sure, they need money, and people just buy anything samsung and apple make, easily manipulated, like rats... No, rats are smarter, like carrots!
So a premium phone thats the same size as iPhone 6's 4.7" after Samsung released an ad calling iPhone screen small? Maybe Samsung should spend less money on ads and more on product refinement.
[deleted post]That was so stupid, the way you made comment on that *facepalm* Hope things get fine with you mate.
God bless you.
I really wanna know about the options by which they are ready to make fool of people again, no matter they are from India or US or from any other part of globe.
ljames, 31 Jul 2014I really do hope the note 4 is a significant improvement from the note 3. Otherwise I'd have t... moreHow significant do you want? It is way more than capable of what are phones are these days. What they should focus on right now is the battery life and simplicity. This is my opinion.
Sick and tired of samsung releasing 15-20 phones and not supporting them with software updates . utterly disgusted
As many of the comments do not relate to the article I
do wonder why some even bother to post
It is not taking one word in this case Samsung and surrounding it with whatever thought occupy your mind
So in 2011 Samsung should have been charged with arson for setting the world alight with the SGS 2
The problem faced by all phone makers INCLUDING Samsung is this after Motorola gave us Dual Core.
Samsung (no accelerant was harmed)with the SGS 2 learned a few tricks re marketing from Apple, released a phone heads and shoulders better than anything else.
The only thing missing from the SGS 2 as not discovered in 2011 was 4G LTE.
Many flagship phone or phones with specs that match the SGS 2 are more than adequate for say 80 - 90% of users
After you upgrade to a 4G LTE phone that really is it phonetically (btw deliberate!)
There is nothing else to add to mobiles, after that it is tweaks to the specs, Quad, Octa core, benchmarks.
Better Display, so more PPI or to give it its full acronym, MississiPPI
More Mp better pics better selfies (so better Academy Award ceremonies')
Better Video recording
Basically nothing new which enhances the cellphone ability to make and receive calls
Once a person acquires a phone which does all that is required why upgrade.
Samsung will sell a flagship phone once and that owner may hold onto the phone longer.
All the S5 offers above the S4 is water and dust proof
In Asia if you can get the handset you can pick up a premium phone for a fraction
If you can pick up a premium phone for very little outlay then you will pay what is a high premium for a Samsung flagship
Apple may have Sapphire screens but that does NOT protect the back, so even if Samsung release a metal phone it is not protected from scratches or Magneto.
IMO a scratched phone is unsightly, premium feel or not
These phones have really got just one chance to impress, and make us buy it
Samsung is competing not just to make a sale but hope that customers stay, but that market is now intense
Two of faves which coincidently look like iPhones are the Honor 6, 13Mp Octa Core costs $370 and the almost as good looking as me so GORGEOUS 13Mp Quad Core Infocus MT810 slightly less @ $333
You can't complain about the specs if you select a low end phone, likewise you can't complain about the price if you select a flagship
For me it was the SGS 2, which started my relationship with Samsung, but even 2 flagship phones are released, I can get what I need in a phones from the Apple looking M810 which 3 years AFTER the SGS 2 costs less than the SGS II
Apple may be the only company (non Asian) that does nit see a drop in profits, but since the IP4S, IP5, now IP5S, all are Dual Core with 8Mp camera
Apple is losing ground in Asia mainly China due to companies producing mud to high end phones at a fraction of the cost
Samsung has shown a loss, but Apple may show growth, but less being made in Asia
I like Samsung but if I had a choice it would be Honor 6 or M810 as those specs are all I need, What I want more is the price.
MdN8, 31 Jul 2014I don't even own a Samsung but even I know those weren't original batteries but cheap replacem... moreOops almost forgot the agreement which Samsung makes consumers sign to get a new phone if it catches fire. Nokia gave that particular affected customer a new Nokia lumia LOL.
MdN8, 31 Jul 2014I don't even own a Samsung but even I know those weren't original batteries but cheap replacem... moreThat what samsung always claims. Dont block air circulation... dont do this... dont do that! so shouldnt put it in pocket then. no air circulation. i have a swollen samsung battery with me right now. and its just a year old and its genuine...unless Samsung sold me a fake Samsung battery. Samsung tabs recent developed malformed back covers. is it the consumers fault or was it fake batteries again?
Anonymous, 31 Jul 2014You Indians will surely enjoy Apple products then. *sarcasm*at least Apple offers the same phone as they advertise. Samsung markets octacore and LTE and sells quad core with 3G.. check the flipkart rating for galaxy S5. it got 2 star rating :v
I really wonder how foolish a mammoth company like Samsung can be,when everyone are complaining about the shitty galaxy smartphones designs and their pathetic designs is the biggest reason why their sales are going down...instead they should have launched the "wave" models within android OS.Wave smartphones were superb in design and feel
AnonD-152462, 31 Jul 2014Dont forget S-Kaboom and S-Burn. They should get their batteries from another manufacturer or ... moreI don't even own a Samsung but even I know those weren't original batteries but cheap replacements. Come on, troll with facts, OK?
