wut, 02 Aug 2014Who cares about an aging flahship LG? When you should've updated to 4.2.2 and 4.3 you didn't, ... moreStop hating. A lot of us have contracts and have to keep our phones for 2 years. And a lot of people do care. And it's a very nice phone with one of the fastest U.I.s around. Way faster than any Samsung phone. I also have an HTC one. And the optimus g is just as fast as my HTC one in ui speed and opening and closing apps.
AnonD-290484, 03 Aug 2014Hi what about lg optimus g e970 at&t version for kitkat? What about LG ls 970? Sprint version? It's the same as international version.

Disappointed with the upgrade, battery takes longer time to charge, phone shows 7+ hrs to full charge, touchscreen is messedup, some lag while opening apps, and for the first time since i had this phone (1yr) it hanged.

I bet you skipped the part where you are supposed to perform a "factory reset" after the upgrade, leaving your OS running with all the mess of the last version.
Mine is F180s Korean version of LG Optimus G and I got my update 2 months back. Have to say this update is very stable and no bugs so far. Battery life increased by huge margin. I heard some rumors of Knock code and knock on feature but they aren't true.. there is no NO KNOCK CODE OR KNOCK ON. And I have noticed one problem so far that is you can't make a conference call. Yes.. no conference call. Please check before believing my opinion. Also I've noticed huge drop in benchmarks.
This is actually one of coolest phone, you can get at this price range!!
AnonD-183154, 02 Aug 2014Likely the last update for the phone ever.atleast from ICS to JB, TO KITKAT was really a major Achievement .

AnonD-290320, 03 Aug 2014How about the LG Optimus G Pro E986 ?I think Optimus G Pro had been given before Optimus G. If you still get it, wait for several days again.
I updated LG Optimus G before this post made to be appeared in this web. My LG is Indonesia region.
I owned N8 before upgrading to LG G. Actually i had a little bit of doubt over my choice. But after all these days I would say I am not disappointed. Waiting for G4 for my next upgrade.
I got an LG before and honestly I had a bad experience with my LG before. Almost 5 years since I use LG but now because of this LG Optimus G Android 4.4 Kitkat I must say that I LOVE LG.
