Just as interesting would be - which are the patents in question? The patent on the FAT file system was deemed illegal. The cellular patents are held by Qualcomm. The H.264 patents are held by various companies. Android is Java on Linux - both of which are non-Microsoft techs. So - which are the patents? In any case, they last only 20 years.
Shamesung just keeps falling lower. They have no respect for other companies.
This is why I dislike Samsung's mobile division very much. It's not because their phones are ugly and bloated for my taste; it has something to do with how they do their business.
Bummer, was hoping Sammy would give us a Note worthy windows phone. Guess the upcoming Note 4 will have to do.
Samsung tried to swindle Ericsson the same way. They entered a contract and then refused pay and to abide by the contract they had. Eventually Samsung had to pay up.
