Users.. if can help me this question :
What is the build quality of the XiaOmi RedMi Note (Dual Sim) ?
You'll see the "purest" out there cutting down some of these manufacturers for putting "only" snapdragon 400's, "only" 720p screens etc, but, they are WINNING with sales. People are starting to figure out that a 2k screen with 3gb of ram, and a snapdragon 80x is way overkill. If you take out the bloat, restrictions, locked out features, over zealous carrier or manufacturer UI's, these "slow" devices WORK! I bought a Huawei Ascend Mate2 about 3 weeks ago after seeing positive reviews and I absolutely love it! It replaced an almost 3 year old galaxy note. Screen is crisp and clear, battery is amazing (3 days average), it has no lag, fast and only 300 dollars(US)? What's not to love. As more and more people are waking up to how they are getting screwed by signing up for contracts, just to get an iphone et al, for "less" than 400 dollars, these mid range devices are going to get more and more market share. I've been off contract, with an MVNO for almost 2 years. Comparing a contract, on at&t, with a Galaxy S5, in 24 months it would be $3,425. Using the Huawei, on straight talk, that same 24 month period would be $1,475. That's a savings of almost $2,000 in 2 years, or around $81 dollars a month! Not one issue, same coverage, who wouldn't want to save 81 dollars a month!
Difficult to believe, too cheap as compare to other phones.Other companies should follow his(xiaomi) way.
In order for Xiaomi to be more international, they should rename it as MI and remove "Xiao".
Redmi Note has already killed both Sammy Note 3 and the premature iPhone 5.5"
Wish i could buy shares of Xiaomi!! Hugo Barra is turning this company into a gold mine..Currently using Xiaomis MIUI on my Nexus 5,luv it!!! http://en.miui.com/download-232.html

Blowntoaster, 06 Aug 2014wonder if this one is also running spyware like the rest of the Xiaomi range.... If you mean "Does it use Xiaomi's cloud storage feature." Then yes, that comes as part of the MiUi OS.
Blowntoaster, 06 Aug 2014wonder if this one is also running spyware like the rest of the Xiaomi range.... It is just a rumor somebody made up in a forum site and it isn't true that Xiaomi phones send your data to a server in China.
$162 for a LTE snapdragon 400 quad core 1.6, 5.5" 720p screen phone + 3000mha removable battery, support SD card, I can only see Samsung nightmare coming.
