You mean they might finally upgrade the iPhone 4 battery?????????
AnonD-197278, 17 Aug 2014are you sure that now you are getting atleast a full day on a single charge from ur 5s ? i don... moreI'm using an iPhone 5 which is 1 1/2 years old and I can still get close to a days charge with music, apps and browsing the web. So yes, possible. I don't use 4G tho.
AnonD-183154, 17 Aug 2014Nice nice. Bigger battery + 20nm A8 + super efficient screen means at least a 25% increase in ... moreSamsung just starts making 12nm...
IPS isnt battery effcent, its the worst for battery, because it has a backlight.
AMOLED is battery efficient, because every pixel has its own light source so the can be turned off completely. "Retina display" uses IPS technology.
You dont know what you write...
Just buy an iPhone it fits your intelligence.
I think iPhone is most of the iPhone fan's second or even first religion. I have been noticing many iPhone fans(those stupid ones, sorry...) believe that Apple can do anything on the earth. They believe in Apples ability more than they believe in god. They may not notice it themselves but its something that can be seen from them.
AnonD-183154, 17 Aug 2014Because Apple always try to give you the latest in tech advancement. iPhone 5 and 5S have the ... moreGalaxy Alpha batteries leak - Everyones crying how small it is.
iPhone 6 batteries leak - You are telling us how apple always gives you the latest tech advancements...
der, 17 Aug 2014Why don't they have a standard set of battery amount. Like it's always 10's/15's at the end?Because Apple always try to give you the latest in tech advancement. iPhone 5 and 5S have the same physical size but battery cap go up 120mAh (1440->1560). LG G2 and G3, a year apart, have the same 3000mAh battery to save money.
iPhone 4.7" and 5.5" have these unusual battery cap because it is the best battery technology can offer at the time design is finalized.
I have A full day with iPhone 5s I dont see any problem with this 1810mAh battery. iphone my second religion
Nice nice. Bigger battery + 20nm A8 + super efficient screen means at least a 25% increase in battery life for the 4.7" version.
Where is the picture showing 4.7" and 5.5" screen side by side?
Given that iOS isn't a resource hungry OS, the battery capacities looks 'okay' and as the batteries for both the new iPhone 6 and 6L will be Li-Po, battery backup shouldn't be a problem. Since slimmer and lighter phones are the trend these days, battery has to suffer.
the biggest problem is : what resolution will apple put to the iphone 6 to this 1810 mah batery ?
All the people agree that this year the Apple event will pleasure almost everyone.
iOS8 is beginning to be more open, iphone 6 will have a large screen and for those 2 only reason and people will come back to iOS.
And the materials...oh is getting even better with sapphire+stainless steel+aluminium+liquid metal
This is funny. If you look closely the purplish phone is not bigger iPhone, it is rather screen of 4.7 inch iPhone. Inverted ;)
AnonD-44928, 17 Aug 2014one point at a time.
Technically, Apple can't really argue that Samsung copied them, becau... moreI am NOT at this point criticising Apple as Apple have NOT officially announced any specifications, but every single year there runaway hype (expectations by consumers) and leaks by Apple to downplay this, in fairness some of expectations are reasonable imo
At the very best each iPhone adds little and Apple have NEVER surprised consumers with a higher than expected improvement.
My point re the Alpha is the specs fir this phone are in fact Less for anyone who has a flagship Samsung, and Samsung in releasing the Alpha are providing a metallic phone with specs above that of the iPhone6
eg through a leak the 4.7" will still be 8Mp plus tweaks including OIS.
Despite the A8 having a clock speed of 2GHz, this would be a substantial speed increase up by 700MHz from its present 1.3GHz and despite that the A7 chip remained at 1.3GHz and still ran faster, so IMO if there were an increase 1.5GHz & 1.7GHz for each size, thus allowing for future increases
Reported here is that only the highest memory 4.7" and ALL versions 5.5" will get Sapphire.
It has been reported again in Gsmarena that this is NOT Sapphire Coating in full but a cut down version so despite Apple stating that Sapphire Coating (standard)would be used it is NOT Sapphire coating and as such is costing Apple less per unit to have
This leak if true, is clearly not Sapphire coating as used elsewhere so how much stronger than Gorilla glass is it if indeed it is stronger than what it is replacing
This upgrade is a NUMBER not a letter S, so needs to be significant, whilst it does upgrade the IPhone5S not much appears to be phone related.
Apple have always had a NON user replaceable battery that based on screen sizes needed to be increased to 2350mAh to be on par, until explained this appears to be a retrograde move, come the Gsmarena review they will either confirm or reject Apples assertions
I really love iphone... I'm so buying this :))) pathetic fandroids can whine all the time on iphone forums lol!
If I-phone batteries leak; then they should make them removable... :) By the way I-phone or earphone any phone should have minimum 3000mAh especially phones having more then 4inch display...
so, when samsung releases 1800mah battery, apple fanboys are trolling and laughing, but when apple do same thing, then it is different because it's apple...
harlekkin, 17 Aug 2014Not sure where you get 81h, I'm just using the default battery page which states 62h, sorry.Refer to the G2 vs. S5 review. In that test, the G2 was updated to KitKat.
