No 3.5mm jack - fail. Am a big dan of SE's industrial design, but they are light years behind Nokia when it comes to convenience and reliability. A proprietary connection jack with no USB or 3.5mm jacks is something we expected in 2006. Android based Samsung i7500 is an example of a phone done right.
