AnonD-225451, 20 Aug 2014Hope it can dual boot soon That would be nice and even keep the same call logs and text messages and app data. That would be cool. Maybe some one will find a way on the Android version
Contract , 20 Aug 2014This may be classed as a premium phone but people are confused by the ultra-pixel that it uses... moreI don't need thousands of apps installed on my phone as long as I have all the apps I need. There is much more to a phone than just apps. Windows Phone by a long shot is way more stable than any Android phone I've had, including stock Android (Nexus 4) and just atheistically more pleasing to me . I prefer Nokia's call quality, signal reception, camera, and build quality in all one package.

Microsoft is trying to attract more phone makers to the Windows platform, and this new phone is clearly the highest spec addition that is NOT a Nokia phone
The only other recent brand afaik is Huawei, the make up and marketing are entry level plus low to mid range phones
The Nokia branded phone range from basic to premium and a lower price on Windows obtains a slightly higher spec phone than what was available on Android
As there is both an Android version & Windows version which have the same specs, as a standalone device user experience is the same
The Android app market whether free or paid is vastly superior to Android, not marginally but by a long way
Simply put many apps you find on Android when you on Windows these are either missing or don't work at all on W8. Those apps that don't work, don't work whether they are free or paid, not being free is not the reason
It is not the phone that will be a let down but which OS you use.
If AT&T carries it then it can be used on T- Mobile as well, this is good news for windows phone.
Windows Phone 8.1 is amazing even on entry level phones I prefer it over top notch Android devices...
But the way the HTC shows its interface is not good I can customize its look and it's gonna be suicidal look....
HTC ONE is a great phone but with Windows its even more better
