Nokia's gone crazy with setting the prices! In Poland, this phone in pre-orders costs equivalent of ca 900 USD!! I guess someone in Nokia mistaken us for Kuwait... :(

It's not quite like that. E52 is more than 50% of N97 price, has a small screen, resolution 3 times smaller, poor camera, poor video recording capabilities, no QWERTY, older software, no 32 GB internal memory, no FM transmitter, no TV-OUT, no MPEG4 support by default and probably not so great audio quality (for music at least). While you may not need those and E52 might be perfect for you (I like E52 too), there are a lot which need some of those extra features - I would surely like to have most of them.

oh..one more thing...
we are just waising the letters on our keyboard ... it makes no difference what we comment, Nokia and others will surely NOT change their habits :(
it's sad but true, almost nobody (company personell) even looks at user comments , not to talk about actualy taking them into considearation and doing somethin
whenever they don't "appreciate" a comment, they just have the site administrator delete it :( it's easy, on the internet is's very easy to delete something, without any trace, like it has never existed...
Non the less, the CLIENT decides in the end !

welll...everybody has been waiting for this phone ...for AGES ...
good point though ... by the time Nokia (currently) releases phones to the market...the "fuss" is just abou gone
i personaly have been waiting for the 6700 for some time....though it's listed as available, it is nowhee to be found and true...the "fuss" is just about gone.
Long weaiting periods "spoil" most Nokia novelties..
sadly, it's exactly the same with the N97 :(
