Oh sh*t, does this mean come September 3rd the Hongmi is going to be the number 1 device in the current rankings?
What is the world coming to?
Still thinking about it !!
As there are bad reviews about Mi-3 in India
and Flipcart is very bad at customer service for this brand (Just read the article)
Awesome pricing for the specs, the days of Samsung in India are numbered.
Muthu, 26 Aug 2014I am not living in US (from India) so I can't be 100% confident about what i am saying. Still,... moreThis is in regards to your previous comment, as well as this one.
There is a 2-year contract in place, but the price is still $50 bucks. Unless you plan to switch your device very often, which an overwhelming "majority" of people do not, you can't beat this price.
So, yes, I'm comparing an on-contract price to an out-right price because, at the end of each transaction, the same thing was accomplished. You have a new device for a great price, and you own it. One is just far better than the other internally, and cost less.
FreezeGame, 26 Aug 2014Of course I have. My Note 3 is with Verizon, so I have hands-on experience with this situation... moreI am not living in US (from India) so I can't be 100% confident about what i am saying. Still, I don't find your comment as logical. There is no way HTC would price M8 (windows) for $50 without a contract. You may need to check the facts further.
eshantg, 26 Aug 2014It is a "China" phone. Very very bad impression given by whatever Chinese items I ha... moreThat is the height of ignorance. Micromax phones are all no name bulk imports from china. Each one of their models are made by a different manufacturer in china. In fact, all your branded phones are also made in china anyways. The only thing separating good from bad is the quality control.
Xiaomi as a brand has earned good reputation. Personally, I would rate brands like Xiaomi and Oppo far above the likes of HTC and similar which also similar. Don't try to compare Micromax for whom quality is the least of their priorities to the likes of Xiaomi whose reputation is built on their excellent software and hardware.
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2014U have to pay installment every month for HTC One (M8). 2 yr contract. Have u ever used any phone?Of course I have. My Note 3 is with Verizon, so I have hands-on experience with this situation.
If Verizon is advertising a device, and it doesn't specifically say it an Edge price, then the advertising price is what you pay.
Edge is the installment plan. Being that this device isn't restricted to that requirement, it is $49.99 + your states tax. In my case, it would be $49.99 + 6% tax = $52.99.
That's a fact. Just went to Amazon, selected upgrade, and the $49.99 still stands. No Edge account required, no monthly installments. Period.

Just go to front page of GSMArena, for example. Also, most phones are made in China nowadays, even iPhone, so what's the problem? You work for Micromax?
It is a "China" phone. Very very bad impression given by whatever Chinese items I had. from a water heater which didn't work third time to a toaster which burnt next month. I will consider Mircromax far reliable and durable than this poor "China phone"
FreezeGame, 26 Aug 2014HTC One (M8) for Windows is $50. What's your point? FGU have to pay installment every month for HTC One (M8). 2 yr contract. Have u ever used any phone?
FreezeGame, 26 Aug 2014HTC One (M8) for Windows is $50. What's your point? FGYou are comparing On-contract price in US, with off-contract price in india. Ridiculous. He was right, the price of xiaomi phone was entry-level, but internals were mid-range.
FreezeGame, 26 Aug 2014HTC One (M8) for Windows is $50. What's your point? FGLOL that is for two year contract and original price is 599$ read it again.. and learn about contract man
