Hmm, I don't think there is, do you? And that is why Samsung will still be ahead.
I mean its useless, when you pick it in your pocket, just to see the notifications..
(Or just to show it in public?to brag that you have it)
That edge is equivalent only to lock and unlock button(no need of awkward edge light tech.whatever...)

And I am a Sony "fa... moreYour precious Sony VR will only work with Playstation, good luck using it with your Sony phone :) Now, the Gear VR and the Note 4, that is NEW! That is something to get excited about! Now you can enjoy VR everywhere you go. And Samsung is the first to do it.
It may have worked once upon a time, but Samsung's tactics are no longer working, or fooling anyone for that matter. Rivals are producing far superior Android phones, and Chinese manufacturers are producing far cheaper ones.
The market is already telling the story with Samsung stock plummeting.
Lame. Basically make the status bar and notification center redundant.

Hmm.. Good for those who were in search for some thing that looks uneque and different.! It is not a huge wonder that they did it...bcoz for some years we are seeing that, only this OEM has the courage to do things like this..Some day they are 'ZOOM'ing some day they are 'BEAM'ing another day curving to 'ROUND' on a fine morning you are WaTcHing it changes the 'GEAR's of your wrist.

It was foolish of them to say you will never see amoled on a Sony phone.
No more foolish them some of your earlier comments though.
Id rather buy a smartwatch 2 ,to check all those notifications...
If you understand, whats d point of having that edge,
Its not comfortable at all and a waste of battery too...
Plain & simple
top this up,

FreezeGame, 03 Sep 2014I'll be buying lg g3 and iPhone 6 waited for this announcement dissapointed.
I'm dissapoint... moreYes....because G3 being g2 with higher resolution and changing from looking like a Galaxy knock off is so much advancement.
And iphone 6 retaining outdated hardware, but catching up to the displays of phones 3 years ago while keeping an unstable/unsupported cpu is also so innovative.
1Stormrider1, 03 Sep 2014Just to exchange opinions with tech-savvy guys such as yourself, my friend.Exchanging opinions only explains half your comments.
Not the bias ones.

The 2nd Vida downgraded to LCD and got slower witha faster chip.
The Vida is awesome for games but not much else. The camera was crap and had no flash. The device was uselessly thick without even adding a larger battery. Using the browser wad about as bad as psp. The unique os was a nice attempt, but would have been way more functional and thrived off android.
Sadly some of these things should have met on the psp like amoled.
And they flopped the Playstation phone by releasing it outdated and never updating it.
The potential is the and the Z2 shows a great effort to show their potential, but it will take a lot more great devices and software updates.
Mike, 03 Sep 2014Useless gimmick )))but then all "smartphones" are gimmicks aren't they?
