With the amount of SE fanboys you find on this forum you would believe they would be doing better. But it is obvious forum fanboys actually do not buy the phones they claim they want.
The iphone will never have the glamourous features of other phones because Apple has a good handle on what is needed to sell a phone. And one thing that other smartphones cannot boast is it just works well. So no it does not have N97 storage, or Idou optics, but more often than not it will work when those other phones encountered some problem.
I do agree that the unlocked iphone is not worth the money. The 2nd gen unlocked iphone started at a grand... ouch.

pictures doesnt look so convincing up there. 3.2MP w AF is adequate i think if the sensor doesnt suck, though i was hoping a 5MP with some LED flash as standard for the price Apple is pushing this for.
add in FM and 3rd party GPS software support and BAMMMMMM u have the most desired phone in 2009

its the quality of the lenses which makes the most difference
i've seen many 3.2mp camera phones which outperform alot of 5mp phones as will as some properly done 8mp phones - dont expect great things from the samsung 12mp - numbers are not everything folks
