I wonder if it would have been better to have the screen sizes at exactly 4.8" and 5.8"?
Resolution doesn't make sense... well, 750 makes sense, since at 2.3 inches horizontal ( for the 4.7 inches model ), it makes for exactly 326 ppi ( same as iphone 4 and 5 ).
What doesn't make sense is the vertical res, the correct vertical should be 326 x 4.1 = 1337 ( leet resolution ain't it? )
So either GSM is right with the 416 ppi figure or they stuck with "retina density" at 326 ppi and the correct resolution is actually 750 x 1337, in other words they would stay consistent with past screen size upgrades, that is, not touching the ppi.
We'll see soon enough won't we? ;)
And it's still gonna cost an arm and leg, or maybe a kidney and a lung.
That's the same "leaked" photo from two months ago. The same one with the clear slim case.
1134 x 750
Revolutionary! amazing what one year design and research produces.
Well done Apple.
Excuse my sarcasm.
Well if these are the iPhone 6 it's about exiting as diarrhea! I am sure the Apple folk will think it's the best thing since sliced bread ad mop it up.
iPhone 5 has a 640x1136 resolution on 4 inches. I don't see why they would put this weird resolution (750x1134) on 4.7 inches. Probably fake.
I noticed when I used the ios that the multitasking interface is copied exactly from WebOS.. Someone else noticed that?
Unless they're doing something creative with the camera sensor (larger sensor or bigger pixels), then I think this has got to be a fairly big disappointment considering the price increase.
The resolution makes no sense!!! Apple would never release the iphone 6 with 290 ppi.
