Even though it has a sticker with showoff unit I'm sure that the retail unit will be the same...maybe a few minor changes to the keyboard,other than that this smartphone looks great to me it's not ugly at all...go see other handsets and you'll know what I mean,spec-wise acceptable hope the price will be the same too...

Looks like a there's a proximity sensor on the left of the earpiece, camera on the right.
Also wondering what the orange symbol on the Tab key is, looks like the monitor out symbol you'd see on a laptop.

How scratch proof is this Model......I have an X1 it is looking real bad especially the battery cover as it very much prone to the slightest scratch.

for those saying that the XPERIA 2 is ugly, you seem to forget that this only a show off model... things at this point are still subject to change.
But still you can't help but admire the specs on this beauty... way to go SE!!!

gfdgd, 09 Jun 2009why ugley ? also you can see that the front of the phone look like htc diamond and the back ... morelike iphone at the bcak n bla,bla..?why dont u jst bought n iphone then?is that wht u lookng 4?mixed style phone..i thing it should b more identical..dat shows this is SE phone..u know its se even from way far..n the color scheme r not the best..wit cubism desgn,u know..like revive 80's..plus shiny..but function was quite good i think plus all d stuff they put in

Moses, 09 Jun 2009I love Ericsson's and always wanted to buy the X1 but after seeing the X1 on GSMarena, I'll be... moreof course,its cool n sleek...but its d most basic cool n sleek..wanna good exmple?try look at motorola..the v3,even now stll look fresh n cool,sleek..thats dsgn...dsgn wit vsion..mkes it evrgreen..not like nokia dat dsgn dull phone,even n85 looks older than v3 or rokr e8..n sony r just plain basic n sme like their older model...anwy motorola r way bhind nokia or se :P

I love Ericsson's and always wanted to buy the X1 but after seeing the X1 on GSMarena, I'll be waiting for the X2 as I use my mobile for taking pictures, video recording and calender ect.
