Smile, 12 Sep 2014Why pay for video calls in 2014, when you have a hell lot of apps working on internet for free... moreData consumed is more than 3g video call. If u think video call is cheaper on Skype. .viber...wechat ..than u r wrong.compare data consumed in a minute and price of video call on 3g network. 3g video call is cheaper.
AKS, 12 Sep 2014YES, I agree..for example video call rate is Rs3/min...yes...thats also drops in seconds..not ... moreIn my area, there is not even proper reception to make a voice call. I have to come out at window every time. Plus, I have a 3G data plan but while travelling from train to office, all i get is 2g and that too very slow. Kudos to Vodafone on delivering such a delightful experience. Complained to vodafone but no response.

Reception would be a nice start! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-28758595
Pyro, 12 Sep 2014Vodafone is the worst network here in India. Before Vodafone acquired Hutch, it was good. Now ... moreYES, I agree..for example video call rate is Rs3/min...yes...thats also drops in seconds..not reliable video call..and u have to pay Rs.3 for dropped video call. Whereas all other operators are providing 5paisa per second. It means if a video call drops ..u have to pay for seconds u have used.
Vodafone is the worst network here in India. Before Vodafone acquired Hutch, it was good. Now just overpriced and pathetic service.
Yardbird, 11 Sep 2014This is the worst network in Uk. Would you believe they sell contracts with 250mb allowance...... moreI agree vodafone is a crap network. They rip people off. Also they don't give a shit about existing customers. When three offers unlimited data at a reasonable price. vodafone does not bother matching it or even coming close to it. they will let you go. i have cancelled my 3 contracts with vodafone.
This is the worst network in Uk. Would you believe they sell contracts with 250mb allowance...and they expect you to pay £35 or even more for that...what a joke...and non existent 3g... no wonder they keep on losing customers...avoid at all cost
Here in albania we have almost a month with hd voice on AMC and Vodafone Network... :)
and this is where the Nokia's come in strong (well the mid/high range). HD mics work a treat on HD calls.
Works great on my 1520 on 3 network, you can hear if the other person has a Hd mic or not instantly.
Wow! The whole 16 people who probably slated Vodafone on this have cheapo phones on a subpar network and expect VF to come crawling because they complain on GSMARENA. Catch a grip! Vodafone are putting more money into their network than everyone other UK network combined- FACT! Vodafone will be the only network using 4G on fibre optic cables while the rest run theirs on "old, subpar" copper wiring. 70% of the emergency services use Vodafone which suggests that maybe they do in fact give a better signal than their rivals. Go back to tescos website and complain. Stop boring the rest of us with infactual stories invented to cover up your inability to chose a good network
Just to change the dynamic to the conversation, I'm with Vodafone and cannot fault them at all. Perfect 2G, 3G and 4G coverage throughout my home town. £31 per month well spent!
BUT I used my sense and only included 250MB data in my plan, I shall only take unlimited data once I decide to go back to three again.
I'm using Vodafone 3G and it's really awful in Walsall, completely useless, plus where I work in Birmingham there's no signal at all so no one can make a phone call or receive a text message, three are much better.
Orange, EE and Three have had HD voice in the UK for years, not sure about O2 but being late to the party is hardly worth a news story.
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2014You should have probably have checked the coverage in your area before taking the 4G plan to b... moreI was miss sold. I was told my area has full 4G coverage but because I didn't call back within 14 days there's nothing that could be done about it.
