and.. at&t doesnt even go up to 3.6mbps...
iphone's only good for application and the US market. Because the US technology in cellphones is so far behind the rest of the world.

This is disappointing, com'on uptill now 12MP has been launched and yet still 3MP.
I waited for more than 2 months just to know how it will look like, but than again a 3 year old shape,
i've been using iPhone and iPhone 3G for quite a while now, but now i wanted something new, but than again same shape, same mediocre camera, i've got two words for Apple

This is really sad news... No major changes in specs, 3.2mpx while others are on 12mpx and video... and not even change the looks!! which annoys me the most!! Disappointed....

We waited all this time for a device that looks identical to the inferior iPhone 3G? So, we'll add Software updates and 20% battery improvements, attach and 'S' on the end and charge people and arm and a leg? What does the 'S' stand for anyway? Sheep?
This is why I'm so Anti-Apple.. sure they're Mac PC's are brilliant, but they need to give people what they want. They blew us away with the OS X for iPhone, now, make it different! People like change and customisations!

in any event, i am a graduate of MIT, am reasonably successful in a highly technical field and can only tell you that your conclusions are wrong. and who cares about the stupid phone....it os only a phone. by the way....bite me, butthead.

The good thing for me is: I'll spend $0 on iphone 3GS...
As I need video call capability
My wife (the actual user) needs radio
And she loves the white on her iphone 3G, so when 3GS only comes in black...sorry, even if it comes with the features above, my wife may not want one.
Save the $ for 2010...and possibly a new battery for her iphone 3G.

- Operating... moreStrange I thought many places in US (at least some places I used to live in) easily exceeds such operating environment...especially when someone may leave the iphone in their cars...
I think Apple just made those specs in case they get any lawsuit...

Guys is there anything BETTER than this iphone? Something that has all the features and MORE? Seriously, I am just not a fan of Apple's monopoly, and how people think you are not cool because you don't OWN an iphone or ipod - pathetic! Something with windows mobile, good camera, browsing would be nice and good community support to enhance the phone's capabilities would be nice to know.

I never thought i would see the day Apple fanboys up in arms like this!!!. We have long told you before but you wouldn't listen, now Apple is going to take you for another ride and add one or 2 items to the spec sheet in 2011 and another in 2013, only then will it be comparable to yester year Nokias, Samsung, SE and the like.
