Rexy, 09 Jun 2009For all of your dudes in the UK!
The Carphone Warehouse price for the iPhone 3G 16GB black/... moreI followed your message and have now ordered my free 16Gb iPhone 3G from carphone warehouse on 24 month contract.
Thankyou :D
Oh brilliant.... just what I needed... a f****** compass
This iPhone as an At&t customer with the new 3Gs speed is the best phone to have. Sure phones have had the speed a long time ago but its all about software and hardware together. The iphone has the best of both. Speaking of software, it has over 50,000 Apps to download. I know so many people want to hate on it but it's just too damn good.
3G S?
S for Speed? riiiight.... what are they going to call it next? the iPhone 3G S VC? vc for video call--which, by the way, they still don't have. "they have copy-paste functionality now!" well, my two-year old N76 had that already.
with regards to the camera...i think the 3G S will have a pretty good camera for a 3MP one. but honestly that's way below par for today's standards.
they're touting this as the best iPhone ever and for what? the fact that it was the latest to be released? Apple and all its unwarranted hyped-up exclusivity annoy me. if they want to warrant all this then they should make the iPhone do my taxes, microwave popcorn and conduct electricity for my house.
For the most part I see MOST of the updates as being a copy of the Nokia E71.
Give Apple credit though. At least they won't be criticised about the I-Phone NOT supporting many basic features like MMS (as well as other messaging features), video recording and copy and paste which even Nokia S40 phones support and Series 40 isn't a smart phone platform.
Previously the I-Phone bluetooth only supported headsets and no file transfer. I haven't heard of any update to this section of the I-Phone so maybe it's the same. Previously it didn't support syncing of Notes and To-Dos, still no word if the new I-Phone 3GS or if OS 3.0 does.
My Nokia E51 does everything all the I-Phones does and doesn't do.
Good job though Apple. It shows that you do listen to customers.
I surely say from iphone 3GS for 199euros every manufacturer such a
Nokia is doing the exact same thing with the N95 range..
first theres the N95-1
then N95 8gb
N96
3 versions of the same platform!
Samsung has it with the Omnia range
Motorola with the razor V3
SE did it with the K-Series phones such as K800i, K810i, K850i
Its called a Marketing strategy!
So the next Nokia or SE NEEDS to NOT have a 5MP camera, mulitasking, expendable memory to be in same league as i3Gs
ROCCERO, 09 Jun 2009When the i-phone's 3.0 software is coming out..?June 17th
I dont see hte point of introducing this new iphone apart from ripping people off, apple must have known this is coming but instead they delayed it and introduced a cheaper version and then rip people off again one year later with an enhanced hardware version.
unforunately this is just selling and marketting techniques because they got an overall excellent product, for this reason they should find a way not to piss customers off but satisfy them since they are the ones running to the shops buying their products.
nothing new , iphone furor is done!!!!!!!!!!!!
will never buy it again , nothing new under the sun
i dont like ^_^... it's a kids phone
videocall?!?!?!?!?!
When the i-phone's 3.0 software is coming out..?
The iphone3gs is just another ''glorified'' Motorola Razr

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2009I'd say AT&T is making you stick to their contract, in Australia I'd have to pay out the remai... moreIve been browsing, mailing and all since I had my faithfull SE R380 Pro, followed by the 9XXX series from Nokia, now using Blackberry so that doesnt always count. To me Apple is a phone wich has nice features but adds no falue to the market, and sells souly on its marketing.
Anonymous, 09 Jun 2009Android is nice but it doesn't have 50,000 Applications, no other phone OS does, this is fact.... morefor apps, i remember one apps is you pay something like 1000usd and get a diamond picture onb your iphone, can you call that apps? or stupid?
