pukemon, 12 Sep 2014Dafuq? Expensive SD cards? And the apple iheads think the iPhone is premium when they make ... moreIn my experiences there is a big difference buying a $30 64GB MicroSDXC vs a $90 one. I've never had to replace the $90 I bought last year. I bought 2 $30 ones in 4 months cause they went bad. After the second one went bad, I bought the $90 one. It's been working flawlessly. So when he says expensive SD cards, he's saying quality SD cards, not cheap shit.
Anonymous, 12 Sep 2014SD card are very reliable if you buy original and brand name quality cards. I'm a photographer... moreTalking about my card in S4. I am sure this one is genuine still got damaged. Now about memory cost is Apple.
Apple charges $100 for extra 48GB or 64GB which in my view is quite worth it.
Joey, 12 Sep 2014I just pre ordered the iphone 6, android phones may be a but cheaper but then you have to buy ... moreDafuq? Expensive SD cards? And the apple iheads think the iPhone is premium when they make the largest profit margins and there are markets created that people make a good living from fixing iPhones ALONE. seriously. Dafuq did I just read.
The first time I unlocked the S5, it lagged through transitions. Happened a lot of times after that.
AnonD-146024, 12 Sep 2014Yeah. Memory cards are cheap & yes they are cheap in every way. There is compelling reason... moreSD card are very reliable if you buy original and brand name quality cards. I'm a photographer and have never lost anything on an SD card. Apple charges nearly 100 dollars for GB because idiots will pay for it, no other reason at all.
The point here is to compare what sort of improvement you will get for an upgrade from 5s and price difference with others phone that offers more computing power
I'm interested to see real usage review, as the gpu will do 1080p
MaxSmarties, 12 Sep 2014If you can obtain a better experience using a much lower clocked hardware it's not you fault, ... morethey do see it. Go to their pages. (S5 or note 3) they are always complaining about their phones. It's just they won't do it here, because they get owned badly.
MaxSmarties, 12 Sep 2014Very few people here can understand that ....
Well stated. That's because it's completely bogus and missleading.
Understanding would mean they are like you. A jelly fan in denial.
MaxSmarties, 12 Sep 2014Synthetic benchmarks are almost useless ... I'd like to see real life performancesOh of course they are useless.... but if the A8 had done what you and the other die hard fans claim and wish you would be raving....
In fact your claiming is superior anyway still.
Just imagine how you would be rambling if it did actually have something to talk about.
ios are much faster than android so don't compare between these ios.
android is much heavier so android need much more ram and much faster CPU.
ios is much lighter so ios 1 ram is more than enough and cpu 1.4 is more that enough.
MaxSmarties, 12 Sep 2014If you can obtain a better experience using a much lower clocked hardware it's not you fault, ... moreIf...but they dont. So it's a fail.
Lol. I never said that. All phones have some lag or occasional hiccup. Just very little....except for a lot in the last few iphone updates.....now trying to deny that and exaggerate onto others.... that's some excessive fan loyalty.
I was speaking of reality. Tel harder
The iPhone 6 cannot be compared to the Galaxy S5, especially in terms of system specs bcuz the iPhone 6 has the specs of a mid-range android phone. My mid-range S4 mini runs KitKat wonderfully, and boasts 1.5 Gb RAM, which is even more RAM than what the iPhone 6 has.
Anonymous, 12 Sep 2014In the presentation they said 50% boost in graphics over A7! Im really disappointed because ... moreSynthetic benchmarks are almost useless ... I'd like to see real life performances
Anonymous, 12 Sep 2014Exactly. S5 runs at 2.3ghz. And apple still runs at 1.3 and 1.4.
That's apples fault. So ther... moreIf you can obtain a better experience using a much lower clocked hardware it's not you fault, but your victory.
And if you can't see lags in Samsung UI experience, you must be a very loyal fanboy ...
you are right i have been using Note 3 form the day it launched and i can feel the phone gone slower and slower as the day passes. Even i try to clear the ram the phone got so laggy and finally i sold note 3 for LG G2, which i one of the fluid android phone i have used . Its been 6 months and still work smooth without any lag. Where as i am using iphone 5 as my secondary mobile and never experienced any issue with phone. Its almost nearing 2 years and still phone works as it is when i brought it . The call quality is much better than all other phone i have used, i have used note 1 , 2 , 3 and will upgrade to 4 once it comes to market if it impress me, i wont make decision with the someones comments as i can see the most of the comments just based on fanboism. There are few occasions where i experience lag with note 3 while trying to attend a phone call, even if i tried to swipe , the call wont accepted which is really horrible and hence i decided to move to G2 which serves me good until now.
TruckStop, 12 Sep 2014Expensive SD cards? A 32Gb class 10 card costs around £15. I know Apple charge more per ... moreYeah. Memory cards are cheap & yes they are cheap in every way. There is compelling reason why Apple doesn't give you the option to put memory card & that reason is reliability. I was doubtful about Apple's view until class 10 memory card in my Galaxy S4 got corrupt, costing me priceless pictures I took throughout the year.
X, 12 Sep 2014Just remember that the S5 processor runs at 2.3 GHz while the A8 at 1.4 GHz. Anyway you can be... moreExactly. S5 runs at 2.3ghz. And apple still runs at 1.3 and 1.4.
That's apples fault. So therefor is less powerful.
And add far as claiming s5 lagging or iphone super smooth you have obviously never used either.
