This is my next phone. From all the reviews and videos i have seen of this device it is going to be very special. The appearance and build quality, the functions, that 8mp camera, the faster cpu will all go to make this a serious flagship device.
Nice. I wonder why gsmarena doesn't have an article stating that the N97 has been shipped and is coming to the US this month?
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2009why why why... 8mp yes moving forward.... high price tag.. loool moving 10 steps back... Yes if you expected to pay only $15 for a high-end device. This is not a loaf of bread - it is a great camera phone. Go Nokia!
This will be one of the most all rounded and competent multimedia devices on the world market as it is priced initially below the Samsung Innov8 i8910 will appeal to many. However it is worth bearing in mind that for the outlay you buy the outstanding Nokia 5800 Xpress and leave with around £200 220 for a fabulous compact digicam.

get a grip and make again good and beautifull phones that are a head off your time !
One of the best high end phones !!! LoL Zero phone. Samsung is the best, LG folows. Thats mainstrem. Apple on the other side together with HTC is Hi hi hi end for Nokia.
Why always slide design??? can Nokia make large screen [2.6inc] on candybar design make it simple please. slide is not simple
No Xenon, small screen, very ugly design, very expensive for what you get!!! Can't upgrade my black N82 for this piece of C...p. Will wait for a real phone to be build by Nokia if they still can??...this is only a failure!
I'm going with Samsung very soon if Nokia doesn't do anything innovator!
Wow! It really is highly anticipated because it's like the first 8MP phone on the market, right? This makes me sick, quite frankly. I WAS a Nokia fan too, but open your eyes Nokia lovers, Nokia is trying to become a monopoly now, which it has no right to be. Today is the world of competition and if you can't come up with innovative designs or groundbreaking features, I think the company shan't be allowed to do business. Nokia truly stinks now, accept it all of you!
grea phone , but I happy with my Nokia N85. the same N86 but with 5MP (include 8GB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot, a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen, FM transmitter, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack and TV out. There's also quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA support for a truly worldwide voice and data roaming.)
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2009i hope soon a comparison will b done by gsmarena n thn it will be known who is the best.....:) I am waiting on it as well. But anyway I won't buy also since I own Ultra Touch now and I am happy with it. I know it can't compared with Innov8 but it is ready good already. :)
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2009apple 3mp is the best, this 8MP is just kid's toyAre you the same person keep saying Apple release the best camera?
Come on! Face the reality!

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2009Nokia doe's not manufacture their own camera unit... I know they don't.
I'm just saying its not 'Nokia innovation'
Infact the lens isn't really carl zeiss...its just a whole module bought somewhere else
