This is not really news. Apple have done it on every iphone launch. Create a phone what people want, limit the stock. and then pandamonium. Then you will see them on ebay for $1500 or more. and stupid people will pay that. Same old same old.
People are complaining that Nokia/Microsoft announces a device model and it becomes available only after a long time, and that Apple announces and becomes available after a short time.... yeah right...
MIA, 16 Sep 2014have you notice that there are a lot of OEM that uses android as their mobile OS? :)) If you see the first comment the other guy mentioned ALL the android phones so he was right, you're welcome (:
I should say this time, APPLE has a huge success on the marketing strategy. Look close to the spec, it's kind of outdated, even G s3 has a better spec than ip6. NFC only support Apay, which is nonsense. Can do better with this spec! Furthermore, i dn't see much upgrades from ip6, nowadays android devices has better spec and already leading the phone industry. I am seeing the decline of iphone.
Looks like many iPhone 6 owners will be in for an unexpected surprise when they get the new model. If they have used the 4.0" or 3.5" iPhones for years, the 4.7" model will be too much of a size shock (as was the case in my experience). And the iPhone 6 Plus? Forget it. People will be returning the larger screen iPhones because the size difference will be extremely uncomfortable for them. The iPhone 6 Plus is larger than the LG G3! Do you really think that someone that has used the iPhone for years will just "accept" the 5.5" size? Maybe some will, but a large majority will end up staying with the smaller screen size. My opinion people... don't take this stuff seriously. And for all you iPhone users: yay, you can finally have a larger screen, something that Android users have had for years!
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2014No. You have top jailbreak to have half the function of an out of box android ;)no need ~
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2014The average iPhone user has a much higher income than the average smartphone user. That means... moreThat is not the case at all.
The fact is non of the high end smart phones can survive in the market without support and subsidies from carriers.
In other words it is the package deal from carriers that support these high end mobiles.
Very few customers actual spend their own money upfront to buy these devices. Why would you when you can crunch a deal with a carrier.
So carrier deals support Apple high costs.
Personally Apple is way over priced but can be cheap with a carrier over 2 on a contract.
That is how the business is done.
Same for Samsung, LG etc.
Me, hell I am not interested is games, or useless apps, but interested in reception, signal strength, battery life, sound, and security so I have a Blackberry Z30.
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2014Lol Americans no wonder that country is heading towards economic breakdown when you have large... moreThe average iPhone user has a much higher income than the average smartphone user. That means that on average these people have already invested in their education and their future. That is why they are now able to afford an iPhone.
