I think that the "S" upgrade will beat all mobile with this performance! And even have had better procesor from Apple they will launch it in the next generation iPhone.

alex p, 11 Jun 2009hey, it's got AMOLED , it rock's, resolution is fine...AMOLED? other brands has it nowadays too. And resolution is of course "fine" , but is it the best ? I believe u 've heard of 480x800 resolutions . What I want to bring up is i ph is no match during its days. But it need to improve in all aspects for this 3GS to rule the mobile world .

Boy gsmarena sure does try to make anything iPhone sound great. "It boasts a Powerful 600MHZ processor". While that is good enough for a phone, we're up to 1GHZ. Try to keep up next time apple.

Nothing really "new"... same design, new processor and few problems really solved. Yep... my new phone will probably have HTC written in the front.

$99 & $199 are for contract/postpaid plans where you're tied up to 1 carrier for years. If you buy that as unit only it would be so much more higher. And that's not counting Apps you have to pay for to get basic functionality built-in to other smartphones.

i was thinking of getting a Nokia 5800 but now that i've seen this one ,,,, well let's just say "i'm not sure"

Does me no good nor many others for Apple to keep bettering the iPhone if they do not open it up to other carriers. I understand that it can be unlocked, but features will be lost with other carriers. Sad, iphone is stunting their opportunity with such a lousy carrier. However, par for the course when it comes to Apple's history.

Man, that just proves how bloated the cut-down desktop computer OS & UI are. You need that much hardware just to run the UI at a decent speed??? So can it finally make voice calls now, or do you have to download & pay for that basic functionality at the App store? :P

v7, 11 Jun 2009Do you really think that someone who can afford the N96 or N97 or Experia, or Omnia HD, cannot... moreagree. price is not an issue for handphone freaks. if you think i ph is still the best, think again whether 320x480 16M 3.5 inch screen is still the best in 2009 June. you will get the answer.
