Scored 1061 in single core (Geekbench) and 3627 on multi core :) HTC One M8, overclocked to 2.8 GHz.

actually, some guyz stress this benchmark does not attempt to have a look at screen resolution to find out benchmark scores. I AM SORRY TO SAY YOU ALL ARE WRONG. this benchmark test has got some algorithms to calculate power of cpu, one of which regards how GOOD OR BAD CPUs SHOWS PERFORMANCE UNDER THE SCREEN THE PHONE HAS IN PARTICULAR. Then, various questions are answereed, i.e what cpus temperature?
In summary, if iphone6 had had QHD screen like Note 4, probably it would have had scores of just over 1000 and around 2100, single and multi core respectively. Maybe, we would gonne see a laggy phone :D.
AnonD-156365, 19 Sep 2014I have 43569 in Antutu :) m8 :) U wot m8?
AnonD-156365, 19 Sep 2014I have 43569 in Antutu :) m8 :) Geekbench is the only one (or among the few) that shows cross platform scores. score you mentioned has no relevance here. example(hypothetical) you can't compare nokia 1100 benchmark score of 1 trillion. when the benchmark is only designed for nokia 1100. FYI not an iphone fan.
The only benchmark I care about is me using the device.
Samsung Galaxy S3: fail!
iPad 4: pass!
Just pre-ordered my iPhone 6, space gray, 64GB.
I''m glad to find out that it's "better" than the iPhone 6 Plus.
bizmaz, 19 Sep 2014And this is my nexus 5 android 4.4.4 benchmark results
cpu (single core)
cpu integer : 1895... moreRun Geekbench 3 instead.
Single core performance of iPhone is commendable.
I could only get 969 on single core and 2892 on multi-core.
My Antutu score is 42150.

AnonD-221839, 19 Sep 2014The best and fastest phone on the market when released. It trumps the Note 4 with this plastic.I am sorry, were you referring to the iPhone being the fastest or the Note 4?
Know that depending on how you answer might bring a massive verbal bashing ;)

iCrap is getting even more crappy! Fact!

AnonD-27765, 19 Sep 2014I've had many devices from different brands in the past but Apple devices are the best I've ev... moreIts not only user experiance that people talks about.
people who have budget proble will never buy an Iphone.who can afford the Iphone may think that Iphone has too much constrainsts like itunes and Ecosystem.I can afford Iphone and i had one but i gave it to my sister because i want Damned Homescreen.Iphone shows Appdrawe when Unlocked and i donot need Apps everytime.
I had Galaxy Ace,s3,now buying motoX or Next Nexus.
Because most of the time i unlocked a phone,i am on homescreen only
I want that Iphone should not show app drawer when Unlocked.
Iphone 5 s used for 3 days only.
Also Icons on Iphone looks childish.
I love today view on Ios8.
Moto X 2014 has better score, screen and design and is priced at 60% of iPhones.

But anyway, benchamark are always useless.
To all the genius commentors who know a lot about benchmarks, just a little tip:
RESOLUTION DOESN'T AFFECT CPU SCORES.
I've had many devices from different brands in the past but Apple devices are the best I've ever used. The strength of Apple devices lies from the elegance of the hardware to the beauty and simplicity of the software to the smooth performance and excellent user experience. I've stopped caring about specs and benchmark scores since I've had my first iPhone last year. I used to bash Apple prior to that until I've experienced using an iPhone 5s. It completely trumps every other smartphone with monstrous specs. The user experience is the most important factor every smart person should be considering when buying a smartphone/tablet. And Apple delivers the best user experience with their devices. I'll never go back to Android again.

undulose, 19 Sep 2014That's not always the case for benchmark tests. And the difference in score should be expected... moreResolution doesn't affect CPU scores genius.
This is geekbench not GFXbench
wut, 19 Sep 2014I wonder how these fare to top-end Android devicesThese results are quite equal to the snapdragon 801 AC used in xperia z3, galaxy s5, moto X 2014, one plus one etc. s801 gets around 2800-3000.
However, the exynos 5430 in galaxy alpha scores around 3300 and also the snapdragon 805 and tegra k1.
Anyway, these are not very big differences.
The real monster is the exynos 5433 though. It gets an astounding 4300 even without 64-bit support and when android L will be out, i guess it'll cross 5000 as the exynos 5433 is a 64-bit CPU.
