Anonymous, 09 Jul 2009srry to add, if anyone know where to get the Samsung Mobile Navigator install in the phone, pl... moreHey all the Samsung JET users ..

The phone is really awesome ...
Initially I also got dis heartened when I could not use the GPS functionality... but later manged to get the Navigation activated and installed the route 66 s/w and sync'd it with the Jet..

Now it works perfectly fine even for the indian roads which are dynamic (-:D) lol .... just install the country specific maps and u r good to go...

The jet is very powerful when I compare its re-routing calculations which comes quickly almost in a second only, thanks to its fast processor.

Steps to activating the navigation in Jet 8003 is as follows:
          1- *#6984125*#
2- scroll down then chose “Internal”.
3- master code required!, click on gray area numeric key board will appear, type *#9072641*#
4- chose ” LpsApp -> navigation ” click on enable.
5- go to menu navigation icon should be present.
6- from your computer vist “http://www.66.com/samsung/index.php?cid=US&act=1″ select your phone model download the program, then install it on your PC.
7- the program will ask you to Connect your mobile witm PC throw USB cable. follow the instructions, download the maps, enjoy!!!!!!

You can ... moreYes I no I already own the Omnia i900 but use SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 & have 12 widgets on one screen that would be Impossible on touchwiz as most of the icons are WAY too big & NEED to be reduced like the weather widget all it needs to show is a weather symbol & the temperature if you want more information then just click on the widget.

The cloumn of icons on the left are the list of widgets. You can scroll up and down to see what widgets are available. Then you can drag a widget from that column and put it on the 'desktop'. Then it becomes big. If you don't want that widget, just drag it bag to the list.

Why are the widgets so massive on the touchwiz look at the weather icon it takes over ¼ of the screen that is way to big the widgets need to be reduced in size to the same size as the ones on SPB mobile shell 3.

We want proper reduced sized Widgets Now, or the option to reduce the size.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2009i do not get the madness about 3.5 jack. what a waste of space in potable devices. there is a ... morethe reason is cause 3.5 is the most common, even more than 2.5

and its better than those daam property posts in which every time you disconnect the headset it feel like its the last time its gonna work..

on 3.5 just pull it out and no harm done.
