DaXiong, 28 Sep 2014You mean you (or your dad) broke the phone. If your dad dropped the phone 99 times before ... moreThat's not an excuse for not having any spares or any means of repairing the phone.

This one was due to user fault, but should it fail late due to a manufacturing error and then what? No spares and no arguments!

PS: I for one would very much like to know that my phone can be repaired should anything happen to it. I do know I have to pay for the repair if it is my fault, but it is beyond any reasonable doubt that there should be a way to repair it other than "buy another one".

Samsung users tend to be based on specs and price, both which Xiaomi are now outperforming Samsung. Samsung users will move to Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is selling their handsets online in India. This is fine. But do they have service centers / customer care anywhere in India? Online seller won't provide any after sale service. In case of some fault, are we suppose to send it back to china for repairing/replacement, that too, at our own cost? Is these handsets are made on 'use & throw' basis?

There was no case available in the local market or on Flipkart during that time. I informed my local shop owner and he called me few days after tge incident when he got the case. Every device faces probpem or need repair sometime. " take better care" " don't use it" " lock it in a vault" is not the answer to why there are no spares. I am not the only one facing such problem. Check the miui forums and reply on my thread.

Chinese apple is going to throw out apple. The two phones are not so different in quality, specifications and functionalities or ever more things can be done in xiaomi. The difference you can recognise after comparison is only MONEY.

For all people who are crying abt after sales service, should understand, xiaomi is a new brand in india, but they are giving you quality products at very good price, imagine your self a year back, what cheap phones we got for 6-8k..but they have really taken the benchmark really high now...so be safe wit your phones, if you want after sales service, then buy apple, pay 5 times the money...or buy another xiaomi and be safe
