bubu, 29 Sep 2014And the phone become laptop.Well, not even close. Can this soc beat the top end 2012 laptop? NO
AnonD-225521, 29 Sep 2014Or since 64 = 2 x 32, there is twice more info processed in one clock. Not an apple fan, just... morewell, because Android phones don't sell if the specs on paper are not super-mega-high?
With this generation of chipsets I think it will be enough for many years to come for phones. Ofcourse as tablets push 4k screens and mobile gaming starts getting more traction we would need better chipsets. But for mobile phones I believe next get flagships like S6, Z4 and so on will finally get a peek and we wont "need" to replace our smartphones so fast.
AnonD-27765, 29 Sep 2014Everything in Android gets obsolete fast and replaced by a new technology in just a matter of ... moreIsn't that just modern technology?
Do you think iBanana will replace the iBend "feature" or stick with it for a while? LOL

Not an apple fan, just saying 64 bit is not only for more ram.
Anyway, why do phones even need 4gb+ ram now?
I always have loads free and 'wasted' on my g2 with 2gb ram
Next AppleA8X(PowerVRGX6650 a.k.a=ipad air2) will be the SOC game changer.
Forget about S810/S808.
S6 will have this, note 4 has s805, note 5 may have something new and un announced
AnonD-282298, 29 Sep 2014Rip those who bought New Mobiles now.Everything in Android gets obsolete fast and replaced by a new technology in just a matter of months.
so the xperia z4, lg g4 and htc m9 will have the 810 processor? I hope Samsung use exynos for variety
Anonymous, 29 Sep 2014Yes 64 bit with 1GB of ram. The whole point of 64 bit is to address more than 4GB of ram.... A... more4GB or more RAM is an option/feature of 64-bit architecture, not a requirement.
AnonD-283617, 29 Sep 2014Hmm I didn't know a 2012 phone could spank the s5 in benchmarks Dude what are u saying? Are you out of your mind..?
wow that 30%+ performance, can we have 256GB microSD cards now please?
in case you wondering why, if we have a powerful video processor we can maybe, just maybe shoot 3D at 4K, but that would take a very high amount of storage, also, maybe a phone with 4GB RAM and these chipsets can finally run a ps2 emulator?, i bet the dolphin emulator will work just fine in such a device
Only Samsung will use 810 in the Note 4 and 805 in the Galaxy S6. We will be lucky if we get HTC, Sony and LG will all use 805 aswell as QHD screens.

The whole point of 64 bit is to address more than 4GB of ram.... Apple marketing rules, sells 2012 stuff for double the price of 2014 flagships and idiots buy them.....
