Can you order one now straight or do you have to find someone who has one and have them refer you or do you still go through a lottery process to order one?
Not sure what is happening?
I just want to know? I wanted one badly when it first came out and never won a lottery pick and could not find anyone who would refer me that own one without them asking for a pay out like $50! LOL! I just went and purchased a Sony Z2! I never have one even if the President of One Plus gave it to me in person!
I have the phone, love it. Took me only 3 days to get invite without begging. You can easily get them now.
F**** this company with it's invite system.
I would pay 100-200$ more for other phones than to beg, strip, spam for a ***** invite.
I have OPO and I got one also for my wife. I've read the forums a lot before getting them. I'm very satisfied with both of them. First batches had some issues like yellow tint or low sound during call or motion sensor activation. But they solved those issues and now the phone is perfect-for its price. Simply put, there are no phones there (speaking about Europe\America, not Asia, don't know the market there) that are that good with its specs. Remember, a iPhone 6 with 128 gb costs like 3 OPO. A HTC M8 and a SG5 costs like 1.7 OPO. And either of them don't have its specs (except some gimmics like heartrate sensor or dual ultra-crap-camera). Its build quality is great overall. I'm very satisfied with its specs and performace, the battery is great (ad least for international model, not China one) and no probles at all with LTE.
Of course, there are a lot of phones for chinese market that are good, I'm only speaking for those whom are made for UE/American market.
As for OP2, the only issue is screen size. Some hate it, others like it. For a "normal" smarthphone a 4.7" like HTC ONE X or iPhone6 is perfect. But, after using OPO..other phones seem..puny :)). But, no matter the circumstances, I will not want a phone bigger than 5.5". It's the limit of usability with one hand.
jobyjoe, 30 Sep 2014Id prefer a tegra K1 Do you realize that Tegra K1 is made for tablets, not phones.

vino41, 30 Sep 2014Too bad, Chinese companies admitted they are stealing personal data on phones.Duh..am sure Western companies are not doing the same..talk about giving a dog a bad name..
I have their current phone, and I must say, it is indeed a good phone with issues. Or like... Bugs.
The main one that I HATE is the signal issue. Most users have issue with signal strength drop like crazy on LTE. The admin from the OS is trying to fix it, HOWEVER!!!! They did point out that they DO NOT have the complete detail on the modem of the phone. You see how stupid it is? The best OS team doesn't have their hand on what they need...... I mean, why doesn't the company just release ALLLLLLLLL the info the team need to fix issues? In their forum, there are ppl selling the phone due to this, and I, honestly, if Nexus 6 is good enough, I may. Reason? It is a phone with basic connection issue..... (Must include the earpiece bug which will stop sounds from it). Next phone? only if you lift their hand up for their OS provider.....
