YOU ALL NEED TO GET OVER THE FACT IT WILL BE A BEAST!
moto are making bigh phones on edge to edge tech - meaning (and in plain speak for the trolls) that the phones will not be huge..
gah get over yourselves...honestly!
I am disappointed,as i am using nexus all my life. When nexus series started with htc till now.i am now using nexus 5 and waiting for 6 but this extra big size has made me feel so bad...wish it could have less tha 5.2 inch size....i would continue to use one..but no hope and thinking to sitwch on lg g3.....bye bye nexus.....huge screen sucks
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2014Ugh, blech. So huge. Blech. What a disappointment. 6"? Yuck.I'll ask larry page why he didn't discuss the size with u first!!
its reasonable to use 5.9 (6) inch screen...noted the name ?
"Nexus 6" just like the previous Nexus devices Nexus 4 using 4.7 inch screen, Nexus 5 using 4.95 (5) inch screen..if they wanna launch 5 inch screen Nexus, they shall do the same thing like Nexus 7...remember ? theres two Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013)
If it's a 6" device, the rest of the details hardly matter. It seems like ony a small handful of people want a phablet to squash all phablets. Should have stuck with 5" or 5.2".
Let's just get real. This is the next Nexus Tablet. It can't be called a phone anymore.
I will pass this, the screen will be too big and I love my actual Nexus 5 device.
Anonymous, 30 Sep 2014Hopefully they offer another option for the screen sizeYes something like 5-5.2 inches max.
Nexus has always been about vanilla experience.
Nothing is more important than zero lag that all Nexus devices have.
I will skip this nexus version since it is not 64 bit capable though.
Amoled screens are better for dark themes-Lcds rule the white pages of the internet.Amoleds are the future though..
I still have not decided which is the perfect screen diagonal in a no-bezeled phone that is about 7 mm thick..
Depends on everyobne;s hand I guess but 4,7 -5,4 inches of pure screen real estate without the buttons is the norm .
I hope sometime in the future Google should take care that all android phones have vanilla Android installed besides oem ROMs and we could double boot our phones in pure android or any other rom (etc Samsung touchwiz,Htc Sense etc ) depending on our needs.
Perfect specs, but will it have a sd card slot. No other nexus devices have it so I doubt this will. Shame-u
Joseph32423, 30 Sep 2014massive size and ugliness. they will reallize it's a total flopbeatuiful and it will be a success
Never believed a Nexus Phone would look so ugly. Now I guess the importance of LG can be seen. An utter flop in my view. Plus Motorola has never been good with battery performance.. So I doubt with the 805 SOC it'll be able to provide sufficient battery life.
