No true, just tested and it has not such a gap, amazing phone great in all aspects, very happy customer here. And please APPLE, IPhone user stop trying to copy android phones.
Anonymous, 30 Sep 2014That's gonna collect dust, and the moment that it will catch water it will be difficult to wip... moreIt will... If you're going surfing with a note4.... :P since that its not IP67 certified then you should know what to do for it not to be invaded by water :)
AnonD-308049, 30 Sep 2014This is a non issue in my opinion. Is clearly not a defect like bending aluminium or the struc... moreReally? So now imagine this simple scenario. You drop a single drop of water on a Note 3, a very small single drop. No issue. It will almost certainly not end up inside the chassis and hence the main PCB. With the Note 4 once the drop of water ends up in that gap which it almost certainly will simply due to gravity, I almost guarantee it will end up inside the phone and cause major problems at some point.
i managed to stuck one piece of paper in my Note3, so i dont see the probelm here because its an extremely tight phone, so i assume note4 is as well..and this can probably be done with any other phone with this kind of bezel.
are you blind or something !!??? it's completely fake for one and one only reason : forgetting bend ... first I think it's about make note 4 going down on selling but after I think twice that's impossible because when note come out everyone understand the "Gapegate" is completely fake. so it just for leaving iPhone 6 plus alone with bend problem! (as you can see there is no other pictures available except those two crazy fake...)
That's gonna collect dust, and the moment that it will catch water it will be difficult to wipe it out. That's going to damage the internals, and since it's not IP certified, it may not be covered by the warranty.
Well, this will be good as well.... My credit and debit cards will now fit in on a note 4... can't wait to have one.... At least Note4 still works when you insert your cards on those gaps..... How bout bending an iCrap?? Will it still work.???? In Your Dreams SheePLEE... :P
AnonD-281018, 30 Sep 2014OMG, what an epic fail from Samusng PR.
Bassiclly: "you can put your credit car betwe... moreTiny minimal issue is a fail?
Well don't plan on buying any phone or device with that thought process cause they all have issues.
This is not a big issue. I would like a s-gap in my phone. Like cmon its kinda cool isnt it.i have a blackberry with metal frame and i can fix a card in it. If i want just a little push.
AnonD-281018, 30 Sep 2014And they laughed to Apple.... Karma is a bitch and has a good sense for ironyNot really. It's a much more minimal thing. There is a little gap in frame. It's not a bend and snap.
Ouch! they admit they have this problem?! I don't know guys seems that they don't care about the customers who will be buying this product soon. The only new phablet now with no problems is the blackberry passport for now. What's happening to these phablets this days?
Nokia " Connecting to People."
Android Man, 30 Sep 2014such a minor thing. at least it dont bedn in your pocket. like certain other phones However other phones don't open up a gap like the note 4.
And they laughed to Apple....
Karma is a bitch and has a good sense for irony
AnonD-175233, 30 Sep 2014If this doesn't affect all Note 4 units, then it is a defect. If it effects all Note 4's it's still a defect. Unless it was intentional, of course (which I highly doubt)
OMG, what an epic fail from Samusng PR.
Bassiclly: "you can put your credit car between plastic and metal, but you Note will still work."
[deleted post]Yeah you said it & you said it right that Apple's sevice is ages ahead of Samsung & I do have experienced both. However, you can't blame it on GSMA for spreading the news. If there is manufacturing fault in iPhone & Note 4 news will spead. GSMA is not the only tech blog IMO. ;)
