I really never saw that as an issue. I mean, come on, you can put a paper in it. So what? I could do that to almost every phone.
Gaps between the LCD and the edge of the housing aren't a new issue.
It was present on the Note 3 as well, and manifested itself on either the side, or the top edge, of the LCD. Suffice to say it way unsightly, especially after it filled with dust and the other crud you find in your pocket.
I returned two for this very reason.
I'll be ordering the Note 4 once it becomes more widely available, and if my unit should have this issue, it will be going back.
It might not affect the use of the device, but at this price range, I expect panel gaps that a German car company would be proud of.
LOL, 30 Sep 2014Yea samsung It is payback time, Next time think before bashing appleIt's probably better this way, if you do drop it you have less chance of the frame crushing into the glass and cracking it.... Things of it as a crumple zone like on the PCB
This is a serious issue and must be frankly addressed by the company.....i think Samsung has a few skeletons to hide here...it is trying hard to avoid a "Gapgate" after only recently ridiculing the Apple's "Bendgate" !
Hold on to your breadth that you can't insert a coin into your Note!
When you push, you can even detach screnn. So I think it is of no big achievement to insert a credit card between the frame and the screen glass.
