I'll still go for Z3... and update to this one when it will be available. 6.2 too big? If the Chinese Source 1 is right, we're talking about 150.1 x 69.5 x 7.9. That's almost exactly the width and the thickness of the original Xperia Z, yet 1 cm longer.
However, I'm in doubt. Zoom in on the image and the stars on the trimaster el screen will... blend in the very small bezel. or so it seems to me.
It should be 5.7" to 6.0" to compete with other phablets such as the Note 4!
please people, cameras arent computers :)
you cant just imagine specs and make a dummy photoshop mockup of your fantasy
thing is, while it would be really great to have a phone with 2/3" sensor and f1.2 lens in front of it and retain such a slim body - it is impossible because no matter how advanced electronics get, the total amount of light that comes through a certain hole is pretty much predetermined...
out of all manufacturers making android phones, I am most impressed with Sony. that said I think 6.2 is just too big let alone 5.9. Maybe this is in response too the nexus 6?
the S810 is still in beta state, Qualcomm will release it in Q2 2015, so don't hurry to buy the phone...
seems like next year flagships will be real beasts.
but i ll hope for vr headset with 4k mobile screen like from samsung. (maybe sam. should make smthng like ps4/xb1 so we can play hiend games)
All those moanng as usual about size I have the 6.4" Z Ultra and I find that's small and I have small hands so 6.2" is definitely small and very compact. i may actually go for the 8" compact tablet when I upgrade in 2 years time and use it as a phone as well.
So phone is at least 6 months away. I am calling the benchmark fake.
darkraver, 01 Oct 2014Well, guess we know what z4 will likely be... ;-) good idea! Sony might surprise us in the z4!
