They're playing catch-up big time here. Mobile advertising is Android's market overseas. iAd is not going to be able to compete with Airpush, MM, and others who are making more $$ for developers than I believe iAd will ever be able to.
One day a company will come out who abolish adverts for a price, just turn film4 on and watch a movie, there's an advert every 15 minutes or so, makes me sick, adverts do not work on me, I don't give a hoot how much money is put into them, the only reason i'll like an advert is after i've bought something and I know that my product is getting some exposure, nothing more or less, which is backwards as i've already got the product. Advertising companies are evil, I hate them all.
Apple made great update for your Iphone, "iAD just the way you like it." -Apple Inc.
MaxSmarties, 05 Oct 2014Is it a good thing when you download a free app? People should think twice before posting...A good app will have a donation/paid version that gets rid of ads but sadly alot of apps aren't like that, ads are more $$$$
Just focus on your core business. Leave the non-core to the others. Sometimes it wiser not to monopolise everything.
Cenas, 05 Oct 2014Revolutionary!
No sense unless its Apple sense
You HAS (sense again ) to laugh at Apple especially when some of the adverts that are attached to an app le are already so iNvasive
e.g.you load an app and then have to scroll down half a page before you get to the app.....
Or you have to zoom the app as you almost always load an advert
So this is something you can sign up for ker ching.
Why did those outside of the orchard not spot this, Clue email a/c full of spam
MaxSmarties, 05 Oct 2014Is it a good thing when you download a free app? People should think twice before posting...I pay the extra fee to remove the ads but only if I really like the app.

I borrowed my sister iPhone and played for a bit. Oh man, I got a bad user experience that I never have with my android phone. Ad pop up everywhere. I never see an ad on my phone.
