Strange every time when samsung comes with new phone the price its not that high, i dont understand why the price its si high, hope it will drop fast
If Samsung want to stay in the first place on... our hurt, must sell this phone for 550euro or less.
I think Samsung goes insanse. I still prefer Satio and hope its price tag can be acceptable (round USD500)
Samsung do not seem to Realise its a Very Expensive phone to Buy an Run an if the Batterylife is weak like there other mobiles it will a Very Expensive mobile indeed,so grow up All mobile produces offer people to Class mobile an Features on mobiles everyone can afford,as the youngsters now day sign up for the deals then realise it to expensive an then make the Debts even worse
The only advantage this phone could have over the Satio was the price tag. That's not the case any longer.
It is more than likely that this device will retail for no more than £450 €500 which itself is a steep price. One of the main reasons why this device will have to be priced attractively is that faces strong alternatives from within the company such as the forthcoming S8000, which minus the camera module has a similar feature set and will retail for much less. Enough for someone to buy the latter and have enough change to buy a dedicated digital camera.
640 euro?! are you kidding us?! if you really wanna take over the market, you should come up first with real full-featured smartphone (with 12 or probably 24 or higher megapixel camera, led and xenon) then priced it at a much, much lower cost! then im sure you're going to sell millions or billions of units..
Do Samsung not realise there is a global recession going on at the moment!
a 3.1 inch touch screen?!? That's too freaking small, they really need to bump it up to a 3.5 inch if they're charging that much for it!
And by the way, one thing about SE that really annoys me is how long they take to release a phone after announcing it, it takes ages, no other company does this crap, by the time Satio hits the market, it will not be as interesting.
I am not a big fan of Samsung tochphones cause i tried out the Samsung Memoir for a week and it's the slowest and most boring OS ever on a touchphone, i realized i was alergic to the TouchWiz interface.
The only phone that i found to be bang for the buck was the Nokia E71 and im still using it, even after i was not very happy with the N82.
I work for a phone retailer in Sweden, and i can highly recommend the Nokia E71, it's a fantastic piece of technology! Better that SE, Apple, Samsung and other boring Nokia models.
And what exactly makes the iPhone a smartphone? Just curious, i never got a hang of it. A true smartphone has all the smartphone apps embedded in the software OS, not having to buy non working halfbreed amateure versions with fancy names from the Appstore. Believe me, i'm speaking from experience.
