Reason : When he pulls the notification bar , his picture is shown like in android kitkat while in L , pic is shown in top right in small circle.

Thats Basically CM11 With Android L theme with some xposed module installed
First thing came in my mind How the developer got root access even this is not released
He installed some modules Like tinted status bar etc
How Gsmarena can get fooled ??????????

Obviously not AndroidL Android L doesn't even support Xposed Framework. Also, the Gallery app has officially been discontinued by Google in Android L.

In the "settings/about phone" menu it say very clear Cyanogenmode.

The lockscreen laggy start gives it away. Only 3rd party lockscreen app can do that. So, I doubt its L
