Those prices are beyond ridiculous for a Nexus phone. The whole point of the Nexus brand is to deliver a pure Google experience without the premium pricing. which means to include the bare minimum to reduce manufacturing costs, which in turn is passed down to the customer.
Google has obviously lost track of that. You would think the introduction of the OnePlus One would have made them try to keep it at the pricing as before...oh well. Won't be buying one. Will stick to my OnePlus instead...
This is very funny iPhone 6 are so expensive but they sell millions in few days. This is even cheaper than the Galaxy Note 4 which also sell a lot but here people complain. The Nexus 5 was not having the same CPU than the high end from LG or Samsung but this one does have same CPU than the Galaxy Note 4 and Ram but still complain and complain. Just don't buy it simple
It seems ggl wants to compete with ppl in the highend pricing level too...
Nexus 9 costs double compared to the Mi Pad. wtf...
That's only 70 euros more than a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact where I live.
32GB Minimum? Worth it I think, great size and front facing speakers.
This is a superb phone.
*BANG* (Sound of Google shooting themselves in the foot).
kamikazi, 15 Oct 2014WTH, THAT PRICE!? so much, almost no reason why i would buy it, theres htc one ect ! (note 4)But for $800 you will buy the Galaxy Note 4 because of the pen and android 4.4.4?
I have the nexus 4, 5 and was planning on getting the 6, but its far to big, looks ugly, and so expensive.
Guess im gonna look for alternatives..
Still cheaper than the Note 4 because the Nexus 6 cost $624 but the Galaxy Note 4 here we go
With a 2-year contract, the device is available for $299 and $0 down with $32.24 per month on T-Mobile. If you’re buying it outright, AT&T is offering the sweetest deal at $699.99. Sprint is offering it for $720, T-Mobile for $749 and Verizon for $825.99. In addition to these big carriers, smaller carriers like U.S. Cellular will also be selling the Galaxy Note 4, but no details on pricing and availability have been released yet.
WTH, THAT PRICE!?

Can't see the nexus 6 selling as well as previous models with the price being so high
I get it: more phone costs more money.
That said, (from a US perspective) the increased price ruins the idea of nexus being an affordable off-contract offering in the US mobile market. I don't know what EU customers were paying for the Nexus 5, but Google has priced this one right out of my range. Unfortunate, but my money will go elsewhere, I suppose
Hideous size high end phablet. Mind you it's not cheap developers phone any more. it's just too big to start with.

32gb and 64gb, finally. But still, if it's 5.9" screen, it's a no go. If it's AMOLED, then double fail.
Way too expensive
Nexus phones are only cheap in the Google Play Store. In outside retailers they always cost more. That doesn't happen with the tablets though.
Historically this is nomal.
o.m.g its overpriced? nexus 5 was only $400 and now $700? i go buy then a note 4 then this? :D :D but untill google won`t confirm it i`m not going to believe
