Looks nice, as big as a iPhone 6 Plus but they have a bigger screen. Win win.
Disappointing that there's no "Festivus for the rest of us" this year.
Disappointing that Google doesn't have a compelling Nexus offering for the masses. Moto-X, I suppose?
Great specs at an OK price, but by the time you apply Google's appalling Dollar/British pound conversion the price won't be that much cheaper than the competition I bet. You're still getting a lot of phone for your money (quite literally!) but seems like Google seem to have abandoned their strategy of selling the Nexus line at virtual cost to appeal to developers and make money out of content from consumers. I'll wait and see, but if Google price it too high in the UK and Europe and with no carrier subsidy, I can't see this setting any sales records.
I like the screen size, not too big at all if you think of it as a mini-tablet rather than as a big phone. However, i'm not impressed by the weight - a little heavy, also no SD card and no user replaceable battery. Seems a bit pricy too, but will still consider it when i can get a hands-on feel of it.
Obviously, the Nexus 6 is not for you guys who use your phone only for calls and messages.
I'm in love with it already! Didn't mean to trade my Note 3 for any phone this year, but the Nexus 6 ... mmmmm
I'm using a Nexus 5 and my God this phone is just too awesome compare to myphone.. superb improvements over Nexus 5.. few cons though 1) the screen size and 2) the price ... :D
I'll go for note 4 for card slot and better camera for sure, price not much different, google try to make money for poor moto on this one, no more cheap google device :/
sunnyrkts, 15 Oct 2014so at this rate the next will be 7" nexus phone.I hope so. I'd love a 7" phone with no bezel.
They should've choose HTC for smartphone. Tablets are not my interest.
Great phone, If I had a budget for two phones I'd get this and the Samsung Galaxy S6 but if the Galaxy S6 does not impress me, I'm definitely getting this...
Anonymous, 15 Oct 2014Nexus 5 : 5'
Nexus 6 : 6'
Nexus 7 : 7' ??Most probably, because..
Looks good, but a bit big.
Curious to see the camera results. They are great on paper, but the Nexus line has not had a good camera so far. Hopefully this will be the break with the past.
Nowhere in Google's playstore mentions that it is $649. Where did that number come from? The price is more likely to be $499 than $649.
hydarnes, 15 Oct 2014Exactly. So beautiful and powerful. I will definitely buy one when released. I've watched its ... moreYou don't care about build quality or other specs that can't be specified at all? because of people like you phones have bad build quality. the specs are nothing special actually.
what a beauty beast, it's great i wish it supported sd-card but i think 64gb is enough for any music library and games and video recording
