Interesting! iPad Air costs $100 less. Now it makes iPad Air 64gb and iPad Air 2 64gb cost the same. Who wants to the old iPad Air 64gb?
"The Apple iPad Air 2 is .....the thinnest tablet yet."
No. It's NOT.
Are you Apple? Are you Android? Are you an iPad? Are you a tablet? Are you Tim Cook? Are you Google?
WFT is wrong with all of you? Unless you are the actually operating system or piece of technology at question (which I highly doubt unless we magically entered into a universe where inanimate objects can talk) Then you have no reason to behave the way you do! Stop arguing like you are the actual product. Why are you defending it so fiercely? It is just a TOOL that you use! But it looks like it is the other way around, it is using you instead to defend itself! YOU have become the TOOL! Think about that...

Performance, and especially battery life, are important as well, most would argue even more important, especially the battery. If your statement were true, then get a Mote E and use that as your daily driver and never upgrade, as it has a quite nice design and is implemented very well.
And I'm here because I can be. This is an article open for discussion, yes? It doesn't say anywhere on this site that only owners of certain devices are allowed to post in respective threads, does it? No, so I will continue to post wherever I see fit.

I use both Android and iOS daily. For the last couple of years I had switched to Android for my daily use, but switched back to the iPhone 6+ now. For me, while kind of large, it's hands down the best phone I've ever had, with the best all around camera and features.
I've also used a number of Android tablets, but never replaced my iPad with one for the daily use. The iPad is simply better in my experience.
I don't have the Nexus 9, but will have the chance to try it soon. If it's really better, I have no problem changing.
But to anyone who is over 12, specs mean little, design and implementation are everything.
There are so many stupid comments from people who have either only seen an iPad in the store, or in a friends house, but have never actually used one for a while, to compare against other tablets.

Get the Air if you want 32GB then, its very cheap as well, and yeah its kind of big enough (we have that model). The only problem is that you will not buy one anyway, no matter what storage options they offer you, you just here to butter your soreness.

They are the... moreNo, actually I've seen the Tegra K1 (32bit) in action, and it ran every game on the highest setting with ease, even GTA San Andreas, whereas it lags on the iPhone 6. Stop spouting nonsense, you're only showing how ignorant you are.

So you dont know how Tegra performs in real life, is that it? They are the slowest of all for casual use, while iPads are the fastest, well known. But good luck with your specs, you are of course free to buy that inferior garbage.

If you have used a tablet you know that it must be lightweight, and then they can also make it thin instead of leaving lots of unfilled space. If you really want a thick tablet im sure you can find one, good luck. And if you want heavy you can always go back a few years, the iPad 4 was quite weighty, should suit you well, and it also has the same big ugly bezels as Xperia tablets, perfect for you, so now you can leave, dont bother coming back =)

Do a little digging, and you'll discover just how powerful Nvidia's Tegra K1 (64bit) SoC is, and it's running the latest version of Android, Lollipop, which is a 64bit OS like iOS. Apple's mobile OS is no longer ahead. I'd pick the Nexus 9 over the Air 2 anyday, just for the fact that Android gives users the freedom to cater the experience to their liking. With iOS, you can only do what Apple wants you to do.
AdamBoy64, 16 Oct 2014Are you reposting the same comment in multiple topics?Of course he is, his teacher in special class helped him write that one post and showed him how to paste it in other threads.
ICS was the worst Android ever, i hate it even today, it destroyed two of my phones with its insane lags and miserable performance, even the dual core phone was instantly brought to its knees by ICS despite disabling everything that could be disabled. What a POS, incredible... Meanwhile, at the same time, iOS was running lagfree on single core and 256MB RAM. Duhhh, anyone who praises ICS must have been reported missing in Sahara for the last few years.
lol what does thinner do to the practicability of a tablet? it's stupid how apple keeps marketing thinness, shaving off millimeters that don't even matter with every update.
as long as it doesn't bend lol.
[deleted post]Have you even used an iPad? Or an Android tablet? Many of us, me included, used to be as ignorant as you and bought Android tablets, only to had to crawl back and get an iPad instead. I learned it the hard way that iPads are the only useable tablets and that Android has nothing to do on a tablet. You go ahead and buy a Nexus 9 and see you next year when you come back more humbled and looking to buy an Air 3. The truth always prevails, it will come to you one day as well.
