AnonD-222770, 16 Oct 2014Where is LG? LG must update G2 and G2 mini..Can't comment on the G2 mini (bad things may happen there), but the G2 will definitely get the update (even though it's not officially announced yet).
There is no reason not to, Google will update Nexus 5, so vast majority of work to get Android L on the G2 is already done. (Dunno if the G2 already has a port of the Android L preview for the Nexus 5? I know for a fact that Optimus G does have it.)
Will xperia m2 get an update?
I read somewhere that 2014 devices like m2,t2,e1 will get lolipop but it is not confirmed by Sony.
AnonD-43588, 16 Oct 2014the Xperia z has got 4 major updates, that's like HTC one m7.
Samsung and LG should learn fro... moreWord of advise, until it actually gets the update, it's a "will get" (not a "has got").
Former Sony owners understand this difference, even though I firmly believe Xperia Z will actually get that updated delivered (even if late).
Maybe now Google can follow up on this and update the Nexus 4. If they do, then that may also trigger LG to update their Optimus G (which is LGs "branded and improved" version of Nexus 4 and is currently on Kitkat).
Can't really comment on Samsung, as I believe that not getting a latter version of Touchwiz is actually more of a blessing than anything else (and their phones are usually well supported by 3rd-party ROMs).
Needless to say that I don't buy Samsung because of Touchwiz.
I bet Samjoke will not have updared one single device by 01/01/2015.
Galaxy S4 is the last Samsung phone i bought, next phone will be Motorola.
I hope Samsung updates my Galaxy 4. I just bought it in January. FiFingers crossed.

Samsung and LG should learn from them, even the Galaxy nexus-and that's from Google- has got only 3 major updates, from 4.0 to 4.3.
Keep up the good work Sony!
