Anyone know when the N6 is coming to Canada ?
And no one complain about the price? :D
Im getting an iphone this time...not paying 650+$ for plastic...
For everyone that think that 10.1 mm is say too thick for a smartphone these days. On paper it really looks like a deal braker when you compare it with otherbrand. But the thing is that as a user, you just don't care about what it says on paper. It's all about the user experience and the sleek and curved body of Motorola devices is far superior when compared with devices from companies like Apple, Sony or Samsung.
Remember, your hand is not flat...your leg is not square (for carrying the device in pocket) - it's just better for a mobile device to be curved as it just feels better. True - you will stumble upon a person that will brag about the thinnes of it's device. Personally, I couldn't care less what they think, as in the end I'm the person using it.
To sum things up - don't be mislead with the numbers - it's all about the user experience. That being said Nexus 6 is still not the device for me, as I prefer smaller phones.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2014Note 4 and Nexus 6 are the industry's top two devices. I'd be very happy with either one but ... moreI think not. Just because the have some similarities does not make them equal. I don't like Samsung phones but I know even the note 3 provides better value than Nexus 6.
don't get me wrong I love nexus line but that's how I see it
Many people are new to 5" screen that's why they are fine with it , but as a phone geek . We preferred bigger screen. I also like the how Google dropping the phone market price . As you can see top notch phone for the pass 7 years has been 700 bucks but since Apple and Samsung killing the market they chose to raise the market price for phone . So please consider not every one willing to pay 1000 for a ridiculous iPhone ( with out accessories)or spend 850 (with out accessories) for the note 4 . Oh wait they both cost more but where's the wireless charging ? Please think before you start criticizing how Google is helping many people to get bang for their bucks.
Google became greedy after success of nexus 5. But i guess it's still cheaper than other flagship.

wow thats so cheap ,i so gonna buy one for every member of my family and my dog,i love you google ,thank you so much
All these complaints about size. I have owned the 6 inch g flex and the 6.4 inch z ultra and never had a problem putting it in my picoet
monsterduc1000, 21 Oct 2014Seriously dude. We all don't live in 'merica. Canada, 64 GB, 800 plus taxes plus shipping = 90... moreThere isnt one spec that can be im0rived on the nexus. What spec are you disappointed with?
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2014In the beginning... NEXUS was popular because of good spec's and low cost. The low cost is now... moreExactly.. Well said..
Goodbye Nexus...until we meet again....very disappointed after owning two nexus phone....I had learnt to wait for october and get an exiting Nexus...but not this time.....infact this announcement had just made me appreciate the Nexus 5 even more.

"Hey, you know that flagship phone you just released? I wish it was different!"
Urgh.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2014Big Fail 5.9Totally agree.
I'm waiting for Google and LG to update the Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 would be perfect for me with 64 GB, 2 GB ram, snapdragon 810, 1080p IPS LCD display, 13 mp camera, 2600 mah battery.
But of course none of those dream specs will ever be met.
Slayer, 20 Oct 2014Huge Nexus fan but at this size, I might change my mind when I see the actual thing, but right... moreGet a Droid Turbo

Not to split hairs, but that's closer to 1.9m(193 cm to be precise). I'm that height only in the morning, 191 cm in the evening. :D
5" display is the perfect size, no need for anything bigger as far as phones are concerned.
nexus 5 is still a wise choice imho, i'm just interested with nexus 9 :)
Note 4 and Nexus 6 are the industry's top two devices. I'd be very happy with either one but I'm leaning towards the Nexus 6 for the larger screen size and it's a big plus to get the latest updates directly from Google.
