The Gionee S6 went official last November with a 5.5" 720p AMOLED display and a MT6753 chip with 3GB of RAM. The device was quite attractive because of its thin and light metal unibody and snappy performance.
Today the Gionee introduces a successor to the S6 called the Gionee S6 Pro. It is also built of metal, and features a 5.5" display, but this time around the screen is an IPS one with 1080p resolution. The chipset has been upgraded too, it's the mid-range MediaTek Helio P10 with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, Mali-T860MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The Gionee S6 Pro retains the 13MP on its back, which is enhanced with phase-detection AF. The selfie shooter has been upgraded to 8MP resolution.
The Gionee S6 Pro comes with 64GB storage, expandable via a microSD slot. The S6 Pro uses a hybrid dual-SIM slot, so if you decide to opt for a memory card, you'll lose the option for a second SIM card.
The rest of the S6 Pro specs include a fingerprint sensor on the back, LTE connectivity, a 3,130 mAh battery, USB Type-C port, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo 2.3 launcher.
The Gionee S6 Pro is available in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold options and you can have it for CNY 1,999 ($300) in China. The phone is sold via Gionee's Shop and TMall.
There is no word on global availability just yet.
Helio x30 should use combination of A73 + A35, for better energy efficient usage and drop finally those A53 ones. Something like this for Helio x30 would be awesome: 2x A73 2.8GHz + 4x A35 2GHz + 4x A35 2GHz, and Helio x30 should use latest Mali...
