The regular Xiaomi Mi 9 is already one of the most powerful Android flagships, and the upcoming Mi 9 Explorer Edition looks to cater to those in need of a bit more RAM as well as a flashy transparent back.
Some Chinese users were unhappy with the fact that an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option of the flagship wasn’t available and it looks like their complaints are heard. Xiaomi’s Product Director Wang Teng Thomas responded on Weibo that an 8GB RAM / 256GB transparent Mi 9 is coming soon. This model would fit between the regular Mi 9 and the top 12GB/256GB Explorer Edition.
Apart from the extra RAM and the f/1.47 48MP main camera with 7P lens, the Mi 9 Explorer shares the same specs as the regular Mi 9 including a 6.39-inch notched Super AMOLED FHD+ display alongside the Snapdragon 855 with 8 or 12 GB RAM. The same 20MP front camera is found up front while the back trio comes at 48MP + 16MP + 12MP.
Speculations currently point to a late March release and a CNY 3,599 ($535 / €475) price tag.

2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go man its USB C not Micro usb so all should be fine.
Is this Xiaomi Mi flagship or not? Comparing with an L2 is simply ridiculous..
Other companies use it as well. Or even worse. Like Sony L2 300 bucks for a phone worth 150.
