According to a Reddit thread, at least six South Korea-based owners of the recently released Apple Watch SE have reported overheating issues with their new Apple wearables.
As reported by Apple Insider, the overheating issues stemmed from the same area: above the display connector, between the Taptic Engine and Digital Crown. This deduction was reached by analyzing teardowns of older Apple Watch models. Apparently, a sign of the impending incident is a yellow spot on the screen that affected users have spotted.
Luckily for some, the watch overheated while on the charger, while others weren’t so lucky and experienced a burning sensation while wearing it on the wrist. Out of the six owners with the issue, three have been issued refunds and are expecting a personal response from Apple.
It appears the issue is limited to a small batch of watches produced for the South Korean market.
Not undertanding the point above about foldable or watch, there is no compatible foldable so wear a watch until that happens... its like in the past saying you refuse to use a copper based telephone as cellular is coming out in 5 years time... so you...
"I don't need to use some unproductive watch on my wrist, Apple or Android" then why are you acting like you know better than the one who actually use it?
Hmm think they need to recall the watches if they are all built the same unless it’s a defective batch..
