Following the refreshed MateBook D 15 announced in May, Huawei went ahead and released an Intel-powered version for the UK market. The new MateBook D 15 is offered in a single 11-gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 chipset version compared to the Ryzen 5 5500U or the more capable Ryzen 7 5700U SoCs found in the global models.
You still get a 15.6-inch IPS LCD with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The ultrabook comes with 8/16GB DDR4 dual-channel memory and 256/512GB NVMe PCle SSD storage. The GPU is an integrated Intel Iris Xe. The build is aluminum and the weight is kept at just 1.56 kg.
I/O consists of 2xUSB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1, a USB-C port (used for charging), HDMI in and a headphone/mic port. The battery is rated at 42 Wh. You also get a bundled copy of Windows 10 Home edition.
MateBook D 15 is priced at £750 and is already available through Huawei’s online store. Huawei is offering a backpack, mouse and Bluetooth speaker on the house with purchases through August 8.
Thats global crisis for you not only due to pandemic but chip shortages made them inflate in prices even on low end spec'ed laptops.
Laptop pricing is an absolute joke. Everything is 599-650 euros no matter the specs.
Man i agree on that but as a students notebook is very expensive and with grapic card it have its useless for anything else.
