Its one of the Best User Friendly phones one can have... It easily lasts for more than ten years... Or may be even more.. Tis so simple and adequate... Great Set.. Thanks Nokia

As of early 2009, it has been in the news due to a firmware flaw in a batch of phones that were manufactured in a plant in Bochum, Germany. The phone can be programmed to receive messages directed to a different phone number, thus receiving sensitive bank or other data. This flaw was brought to authorities' attention after some phones were sold for over US$32,000. ^_^ happy sellin'

I was able to use this phone for more than 7 years with no problem at all. & still its in working condition.its the best phone i have ever had. :-)

I love it! The Nokia 1100 is such a simple design, robust and it excels at what it was made for - calls and text.
It was made as a phone, not a be all and end all device, and that is why it works so well.

My mother and father both have this phone. They're in their 60's and have no need for fancy features. They've been happy using this phone for years.
