LOVE this phone! I bought my first one in 2005, and used it with no problems. Then in 2008 I lost it. Went to buy a new one to find Nokia didn't make it anymore. Bought a Motorola model for same price, used it but was never really happy with it, color screen didn't stay visible when backlight went off after short time, SMS was not as good, and couldn't get rid of startup "tune" whenever I turned it on. Went to eBay several months later and happily found and bought a Nokia 1100 in auction for $11!! Nice to have a familiar "friend" again. Ah, can see the screen with light off, the flashlight my friends envy, good sound, battery life, wonderful texting (can use Google SMS), comfortable in my hand, May not have all the usual "stuff" other phones have today, but I don't care and I don't need. Make calls and texts, receive calls & texts - that's all I want in a phone.
My friends' phones run off their battery time with all of the bells and whistle cameras, music players, etc., then when they need to make an urgent call.....low battery!

this a very good phone. i am using it since 2004. the battery still lasts 5 days. excelent!

My first phone! i bought it since middle of 2005 and it is as good as ever! Even when, due to my job, it kept falling and scattering on the ground it has always remained at its best. My trade mark phone which made me averse to current phones.

hi dude 1100 is the best model which has been launched by nokia.. I think no mobile can be reach like 1100... hats off to 1100

Nokia 1100 is one of the most robust mobile phones out there... I have been using it since March 2004 and till now it has been my best friend... It really answers the basic requirements of a mobile wonderfully... Its punchline was "Made for India" and it has lived up to it in the best possible way:-)

bloody great phone! tell me..how many of these new models can you throw against a wall, drop in liquid etc etc..would still be working after all these years???NONE I TELL YE!!! love it x

Really telling 1100 backup was out of box... The backup was terrific..... Very easy to use ....I am still using it from yr. 2006 , no complaints , still working ,although i hv bought many new mobiles , but dis was my first choice & the best choice , at the same time best decision ever made to purchase

the greatest & the cutest black & while phone nokia has ever made .... it has withstand all my brutalities (once threw it from 2nd floor) ... it still loves me & works as my 3rd phone ... i ll never ever sell(even if i were given a choice to barter it fr a nokia E72) ... as it is my first phone , i'll always keep it fr eternity...
